Chapter 50 Emiko vs Zoro

Emiko's POV

Chills went down my spine as his cold breath hit my neck. I ignored it and asked Law, "Law, when are we gonna reach Dressrosa?".

Law turned to the window and spoke, "I think its gonna take 2 days or so to reach there.".

I let out a hum and went outside the kitchen. I looked to my left and saw Caesar sitting there.

"Hey, you're supposed to turn me back into a proper human." I told him. "Well, you're already one." He replied.

I tilted my head in confusion as I went to touch my head, there was no ears. I went to check my back, there wasn't any tail.

Suddenly, I went to lift him up and gave him a tight and warm hug. "Thank you so much, even though you didn't do anything!" I gave him a grin.

He let out a groan and pushed me away, "I know you're happy but please don't ever do that.".

Not long, I heard someone calling out for me. I turned around and saw, Zoro.

"Yes?" I asked him while he was running towards me. "I heard that you were a swordsmen and," He said, "I want to battle with you.".

I raised an eyebrow at his sudden question and looked at his katanas.

"I heard that one of your sword's cursed." I said, pointing at one of his swords.

"My Kietsu is," He said, grabbing it, "it wants to battle.". I stared at him for a while and spoke, "I don't have any katanas.".

"Lend Law's Nodachi then." He replied. "Fine, I'll battle you." I smiled at him.

"Luffy, find us a suitable island to fight on!" Zoro shouted at his captain. "What about Dressrosa?" Law asked.

"It'll be just a short period of time. " Zoro replied. "Oh a fight? No problem!" Luffy replied and went to search for one.

"I spotted one!" Luffy retardedly said it and pointed at a green island on the horizon.

Nami let out a sigh and folded her arms, "Just get this over and done with soon.".

Luffy smiled and shouted to the crew, "Nami given her consent, let's go, Franky!".

"Oh, a fight between Emiko and Zoro, I'm interested." Kid smirked.

We reached the island and I hopped of Sunny skillfully. "Here's my Nodachi," Law said, giving me it. "How did you know I was going to use it?" I asked him. "I overheard you two." He replied.

The crew stood on Sunny and watched, except for Zoro and I who was preparing to fight.

"I want a fair fight," He said, taking out his swords, "I'll use Kietsu while you fight without your powers."

I nodded at him and took out the Nodachi as Zoro did the same thing as I did.

Suddenly, he charged towards me with his Katana but I defended myself with the Nodachi I was holding.

I stumbled a little because he was really strong. Zoro slid back and placed his swords high up at his back and squatted down.

"I didn't expect you to be this strong." Zoro smirked. I let out a soft growl. He stood up and charged towards me as I skillfully turned to the side.

I was behind him as I raised thr Nodachi to slice him but due to his quick reaction, he turned behind and shieled himself.

I wonder how can he can weild such a huge Nodachi.

The two swords rattled as I prepared my attack. I caught Zoro staring at my unprotected body as he charged towards it with his katana.

I knew what he was gonna do and jumped as high as I could, fast enough to escape from his sword.

I skillfully backflipped and landed on his sword lightly. I held onto Law's Nodachi on the back and the handle with my two hands and placed the tip near his neck.

Zoro eyes widen as he carefully turned his head to look at the Nodachi which was dangerously close to his neck.

I heard gasps from the crew and I hopped of his katana. I placed Law's Nodachi back and rested it on my shoulder, walking away from Zoro.

Sanji looked at my back like something happened and I turned behind.

Then, a sharp object pierced through where my stomach was. I looked down and saw Zoro's katana right through me.

I tilted my head back, shock from what just happened. "MARIMO, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" I heard Sanji shouting at him.

"Damnit, that stupid girl!" Kid boomed.

"Miss Emiko!" Law shouted.

I wimpered a little and used all my energy to push Zoro away by pulling his head.

A whip sound was heard above me as Zoro flew away from me. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Sanji snapped.

I expected to collapse to the hard ground by a pair of arms caught me. "Emiko-chan!" Luffy said, holding me.

He grabbed Zoro's sword and tried to pull it out but I used all my might to pull his hand away from it.

"D-Don't do it Luffy, It'll make the bleeding worse." I croaked out. "Sorry, I'll bring you to Chopper and Law!" He said, carrying me bridal style and ran to the ship.

I held on to the katana and closed my eyes. Even though it poerced through me, I didn't feel scared and I find that weird.

I thought it was scary the fact that it went through my stomach and I wasn't dead yet.

"Miss Emiko!" Law said and stroked my hair. "Emiko-chan!" Chopper said.

"I'll bring her to the room." Law said and gently took me from Luffy and carried me to Chopper's room.

"L...Law," I croaked. Law looked at me with worried eyes and asked,"Yes?".

"I-I can-" Before I could finish my sentence, I slipped into unconsiousness.

"Miss Emiko?!" Was the last thing I heard.
