Chapter 44

Killer's POV

I gently stroked Emiko's hair, playing with her dark blue hair, it was really soft and silky.

"So, got any answers from her?" Kid asked from behind. I jumped a little and turned behind.

I really wanted to spit out the truth but I can't cause I knew that Emiko would be sad if I do so.

"She didn't really want to talk about it." I replied. "Oh," He said, walking next to me. He saw my current state, "Looks like Emiko's sleeping with you.".

"No, Emiko wanted to sleep on me, that's all." I replied, trying to make her sleep on the ground.

"Doesn't look like it just now." He muttered under his breath. I took in a huge amount of air and ate it whole, I was dead meat.

Kid sighed, "Since you're my best crewmate, I'll let you off the hook.".

I watched my Captain silently storming off to our ship as I let out a huge sigh, I was almost on the line of death.

I leaned down next to a wall as Emiko cuddled on my chest. Aww, what a cute sight.

Not long, I fell asleep.

Emiko's POV

I woke up to Sunny jerking. I slowly opened my eyes and saw,

Seals in turtle shells?!

One was unique, it had Luffy's scars on it's chest.

There were gigantic rabbits too.

But one thing they had in common was they had this glowing green things on their necks.

The seal commanded something to the others as they nodded at the seal.

The rabbits started running towards me, I was shock. As one of the rabbits lifted up it's leg, I swiftly dodged it.

"Mizu Mizu no pistol!" I shape shifted my hands into a gun and started sending deadly bullets to the animals.

"What's going in here!" A voice behind me shouted. I looked behind and saw Luffy standing there, shock.

"I don't know, seals and rabbits started attacking us for no apparent reason!" I said, trying to shoot down the rabbits but they were to fast.

"Wait, don't!" Luffy gently grabbed my arms and put it down. "One of them looks familiar..." Luffy said, staring at one of the seals.

"What's happening?!" Chopper went out of his room. "Unknown animals are attacking us." Law replied.

Chopper stared at them and frowned but, why was he sad?

The seal looked at it's allies and started to command them something.

One of the seal nodded at it and went towards me. I backed away from it as it went towards me.

Not long, I hit someone's back. It threw me over it's shoulder, it was the damn rabbit.

"Miss Emiko!" Law shouted while he ran after me. The rabbit saw him running towards me and decided to jump into the sea.

"No!" Killer, Law, Luffy, Kid shouted in sync. Then I remembered, I can't go into the ocean.

I hit the rabbits back and screamed for my dear life. "Damn you rabbit, give Emiko-chwan back!" Sanji shouted, sprinting towards to me.

But sadly, the rabbit jumped into the sea. Good thing I sucked a huge amount of air just now.

I looked up the surface and saw the rest of the animals behind me.

Soon, I was running out of air and I blacked out.
