Chapter 12- A date to remember

Friday

Magnus POV:

It was finally Friday and I had just finished preparing the things ready for our date, since Alec was spending his morning with his siblings I had enough time to plan everything until I had to pick him up. As I was putting what I needed in the car I got a text from Alec.

Alexander <3: Hey! I can't wait for tonight x

Me: I can't wait either; I'll pick you up from Clary's house at 6 x

Alexander<3: Can't wait! X

I checked the time and saw it was already 5:00 so I quickly put the rest of the stuff in my car and ran upstairs to get ready. After I was ready I went downstairs and put on my shoe's and made my way to Clary's house to pick up Alec.

10 minutes later

After parking I made my way to Clary's house, since Alec didn't want to be anywhere near his old house, and I knocked and when the door opened my mouth went dry, Alec looked amazing "So, are you ready to go darling?" I asked and Alec blushed "Sure, lead the way."

Alec POV:

"So... are you going to tell me where we are going" I asked as we got into the car and started driving to the mystery destination. "Nope, it's still a surprise but don't worry you'll love it!" Magnus stated, seemingly confident in his statement. "Okay, whatever you say." I said and turned to look out the window to see if I could get a hint to where we were going.

When Magnus finally stopped the car I saw we were at A secluded part of the park and when I got out of the car I saw Magnus grab A blanket and basket from his car boot "A picnic?" I questioned and I immediately saw Magnus smirk and nod and I had to admit I was excited to have a cliché date and that's exactly what Magnus planed I couldn't hide the blush that crept onto my face as I watch Magnus set up the picnic blanket on the grass floor and got out the food from the basket. I made my way over to the blanket and sat down close to Magnus and we just started chatting about our week and our project and there was never an awkward moment between us which I was happy about.

After talking for so long we decided to start diving into the food Magnus brought which was amazing in my opinion. As we were packing up and were making our way back to the car Magnus started talking again "So, how did you like the date?" He said with a wink, which made me blush "It was wonderful I loved it." "I'm glad you did." He said once we made our way back to the car Magnus put the picnic items back in the car and shut the door, he pinned me against the car and kissed me and I instantly relaxed into the kiss, we broke the kiss needing oxygen and we were catching our breathe Magnus whispered "Be my boyfriend?" "I wouldn't have it any other way." I said and grinned 'This will be a date to remember'
