Part 35 - the finale

Magnus POV:
"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked, for like the fifth time because Alec truly seemed shaken up when I found him, luckily he seemed to be less shaken up now but I could still se the fear in his eyes.

"I'm with you, so yes I'm fine now stop worrying we have a graduation to get to" he said and clapped his hands together, I just laughed and pulled him into a soft, warm and loving hug

"You know I love you right." I say as I stare at his face, his face softens as he leans in to give me a kiss.

"I love you too" he whispers back, while swiping our noses together. I giggle softly.

"I now present to you the class of 2019! Congrats you have all graduated." Our head teachers says as we all stand up and throw our caps in the air and turn to hug our friends and family.

"We did it!" Alec yells over all the commotion as we walk up our friends and family.
"Yeah we did" I say back. As we reach our friends they all pull us into a hug; since they still have a year left.

"Congrats guys I'm so jealous you get to leave this place already!" Izzy says and I smile at her.

"Don't worry you only have a year left it will fly by" I say back as she pulls me into a hug of her own.

"Thank you for making my brother so happy; I heard about what happened this morning, it makes me sick, thank god you got there when you did." She said into my shoulder and I squeezed her harder.

"Ok, can't breath" she said and I chuckled but let her go. On the corner of my eye I saw Jace talking to Alec, probably the same thing Izzy was talking to me about, I was just about to go over there when I say Alec eyes start to water and get pulled into a hug I decided to leave them for a while and I headed over to see my mum.
"You did it!" She screamed when I met up with her. I laughed at how excited she was.  "I have a surprise for you and Alec." She said and I rose my eyebrow, she handed me and envelope and I looked at her in confusion. "It's just a reward for everything you guys have been through, especially Alec" she said as I opened the envelope to find two tickets to Barcelona.

"OMG! Thanks you, thank you, thank you! This is the best gift ever!!" I exclaimed and pulled my mum into a massive hug. She chuckled

"It was my pleasure dear, now go and tell him the good news" she said and pushed me into the direction of Alexander. I had a huge smile of my face and nothing could get rid of it. I was so excited to tell him the good news.

Alec POV:
I was talking to Jace when I felt a pair of hands wrap around my body; I first I tensed until I heard the sweet voice of Magnus near my ear.

"May I steal Alexander away for a minute?" He asked Jace you who laughed but left us to go talk to clary no doubt.  "I have a surprise from my mum for us" He said and I turned to look at him.

"What is it?" I asked, generally confused.

"She has given us two tickets to go to Barcelona for a week, she told me we needed it after everything we've been through" He said and I smiled at him and took his hand. "What are you doing" He chuckled out as I dragged him along.
"We are going to thank your mother" I said as we reached her. I quickly let go of magnus' hand and; surprising everyone I pulled her into a hug; "thank you, for this wonderful present." I said, into her shoulder as she tightened her hold around me "it's okay dear you deserve it after everything you've been through" she said and I could feel the tears start to well up in my eyes, she clearly noticed as she wiped them away after letting go of me.

"Well let's go home to pack!"

'Wow what a year...'
