Thank you guys for the support you've given me! I'm sorry for the long break, but I'm going to try my best to get back into things. Thank you again! Love you!
"Christine."
"Yes?"
"Oh god."
Christine looked out the window, already knowing what Jeremy was going to talk about. "Are you still stressed about valentines da-"
"Am I still, yes I'm still stressed about Valentine's Day!" Jeremy through his hands in the air, his face turning a soft pink. "I just, I just, he's so, you know? And I just, what if his gift is better than mine, you know? Then he'll hate me! I don't want him to hate me. That's not, I don't, uh, he, well, I just."
Jeremy flopped onto his bed, just barely missing Christine's lap. He covered his face with his hands, letting out a loud groan. "What am I gonna do man?"
"Well..." Christine trailed off, looking around Jeremy's room, trying to think of what to say. As she looked around, her eyes caught something. Since when did he have that poster there? Wasn't it right by his window with the... oh look, there's that action figure I gave Jeremy last year. He was 15? No. 16. 17?
"Christine?"
"Right, Yeah, that big V-Day, right. Yeah. Well Chief honestly... Michael is going to love whatever you give him. You know that, right?" Christine smiled, gently patting Jeremy's head. She stood up and walked to the mirror, spinning around. "Michael is a very sweet guy! You could, you could literally just get on your knees and he would love that!"
"Christine." Jeremy hissed, ignoring his now bright red face. "I want to get him a good gift, not just, not just, that."
"Wait, have you not gotten him a gift yet?"
Jeremy signed. "No. Remember? I have absolutely no idea what to get him."
"What'd you get him last year?"
"Some chocolate." Jeremy decided against telling Christine that they'd spend the whole day getting high in Michael's basement. "We just uh, bummed around all day."
"Hey, that sounds like fun! You guys could just do a little small date like that. I'm sure he would love that!"
"But that was when we weren't dating. We are now. This is, this is our first time like, dating, dating. So. It has to be good."
"This is a holiday made just so people spend money. You know that, right?"
"Well, Yeah, But-"
"Then stop wasting your time worrying about if he likes the stuffed animal and chocolate you got him and just give it to him! Oh, and maybe write him a letter or something. Everyone's a sucker for that stuff. Everyone. Literally. I promise you there isn't one person out there who wouldn't want a teddy bear and a box of chocolates for Valentine's Day." Christine thought for a moment. "Okay, maybe Connor wouldn't. But besides him."
Jeremy smiled. "Thanks Christine. You're the best."
"I know." She replied without a beat, smiling. "Now can we please go back to learning lines? You know I'm always here for you but I'm much better at lines then emotions."
Jeremy chuckled, picking up his script. "Sure. Your line first."
