Hiring: UGLY Secretary (PUBLISHED under IMMAC)

LUIGI's

Nakatingin lang ako sa mga mata nya. Nakangiti sya pero nakikipagtitigan din sakin.

"Boss, ahm you have a meeting with the investors in 5 minutes. They are now at the conference room."

Sandali kong sinulyapan si Tiffany bago tiningnan uli ang Employee's Folder ni Luna.

Tinanggal ko ang 2x2 picture nya doon at tinapon sa trash bin.

Tumayo na ako at inayos ang contracts na papapirmahan ko sa mga investor at ang laptop ko.

Kinuha na iyon ni Tiffany habang bahagya kong inayos ang neck tie ko.

"Tiffany, please hire some decent and trustworthy secretary. Do a background check first before hiring them."

"Y-Yes, Boss!"

Si Tiffany muna ang acting secretary ko since the last two weeks hati na rin tuloy ang trabaho nya bilang HR.

Napatingin ako sa bandang gilid ng opisina ko at napansin ko doon ang dating cubicle ni Luna. Tss!

"Erm, Tiffany call the House Keeper right now. Tell them na dapat pagbalik ko ay wala na ang cubicle na yan."

"Pero, Boss. Andyan pa po ang mga gamit ni Lu--"

Matalim ko syang tiningnan kaya naman napayuko na lang sya.

"Yes, Boss! I will call them immediately."

Nauna na akong maglakad papalabas ng opisina ko.

Papasok na dapat ako sa conference room ng may tumawag saking empleyado ko. May hawak syang brown at blue folder.

"Boss, pasensya na. May nagpapabigay po kasi." Kamot batok nyang sabi

"Who sent this?"

"Ahm the Blue one is from Frey International. Yung sa Canada Branch po, Boss tapos yung brown po walang nakalagay."

Tumango na lang ako at hinawakan ang doorknob.

"Put it on my table. I'll read it after the meeting."

"Yes, Boss."

Pumasok na ako sa Conference Room. Inaayos na ni Tiffany ang projector sa unahan at nakaupo na rin ang tatlong investors na pag-po-propose-an ko ng bago naming project.

"Good morning everyone, I'm Luigi Xavier Frey the CEO of this company."

Nakipagkamay ako sa kanila at ngumiti ng pilit. Lumabas na din si Tiffany kaya kailangan ko nang mag-umpisa.

"Ahm Mr. Frey can we wait for a while? We still waiting for our secretaries." Sabi ni Doc Anton Luo.

Secretary. D*mn!

"Alright." I said and sit.

*phone rings.

My phone suddenly rang so I look at it. Luis is calling and he actually left 5 missed call since this morning.

D*mn! What is his problem?

I decline his call and turn off my phone. I look at the investor. Two of them are also talking to their phone,  probably calling their secretary while Doc Anton is seriously looking at me.

Alanganin akong ngumiti sa kanya.

"You have a problem."

Bahagya akong natigilan bago marahang umiling.

"No, Doc. I don't have."

"You can't fool me, Mr. Frey. I am a Psychiatrist. I can easily identify if someone has a problem. And I can say that your problem is not about your business so don't you ever think to use it as an excuse."
