LUNA's POV

I open eyes while clutching my head. Urg! I hate headaches!

"Are you okay now?" Bungad na taning sa'kin ni Luis.

"How many minutes has been since I fainted?" I ask before sitting on the clinic's bed.

"Well, erm you almost sleep for 20 minutes." Napatango-tango lang ako bago hinawakan ang batok ko at inikot nang kaunti.

"Sabi ng nurse over fatigue ka raw at kulang sa tulog at vitamins. 'Wag mong sabihin na puro si Hanzel na lang ang inaalagaan mo at hindi na ang sarili mo?" He said and handed me a vegetable salad.

"E, k-kasi kailangan a-ako ni Hanzel." Napailing na lang siya.

"By the way, how is he? Bumubuti na ba ang lagay niya?"

Napaiwas ako nang tingin bago yumuko. "N-No! He's not getting a-any better."

"How is he, doc? Does he has any progress?" I ask sleepily.

"I have to be honest with your boyfriend's condition, Ms. Luna. He is not getting any better now." Napaawang ang bibig ko.

"Pero, 'di ba ang sabi ninyo last week, nagiging o-okay na? Ba-Bakit ganito?''

The doctor sighed. "To tell you honestly, Ms. Luna. Hanzel response good last week. His condition is fine, but it is last week. Nag-run uli kami ng tests kahapon and unfortunately nag-iba ang results. His heart is not functioning very well."

Napailing ako nang maraming beses.

Napaupo ako sa sofa. Napasubsob na lang ako sa palad ko.

Napatingin ako kay Hanzel na tulog na tulog dahil sa tranquilizer na itinurok sa kanya. Nag-wala raw kasi ito nang malaman ang results.

Iyak na ako nang iyak sa ikuwento ko kay Luis. Yakap-yakap niya ako at hinahagod niya ang likod ko.

Patuloy lang sa pag-alo sa akin si Luis. He didn't say anything bad and continuously make an effort to make me feel better by saying things that I believe even though we both know that it is not going to happen.
