Here's a new update for you guys! By the way, if you guys watch the XY series, just know that I won't be adding the part where they meet Korrina or when Ash ended up in the Mirror World because I really want to move the story along.

"Good morning, A— Ash?" Serena looked around the room to see Ash sleeping on the couch. She furrowed her eyebrows at him as she got up and went over to him. She poked at his cheeks as he tiredly opened his eyes, "Serena..? What's wrong..?" He yawned.

"Why are you on the couch?" She pouted.

"Oh. I was uncomfortable last night.. So, I decided I'd sleep on the couch." He said as he got up and stretched his body.

"Uncomfortable? How so?" She asked.

"You move around a lot.. that's for sure." He yawned as he scratched the back of his head.

Serena blushed from embarrassment from the fact that he didn't want to sleep next to her because she moved around a lot. "Oh, I'm sorry! I'll try my best to not move around next time." She smiled sweetly.

"Actually, I think that's the last time we should try that. It's for the best. I can barely get enough sleep from that." He told her.

"But, Ash I—"

The door opened to reveal Clemont with Bonnie and Dawn behind him. "Hey, you two. Almost time to head to Geosenge a Town." He said.

Ash looked over at Serena, "we should get going." He said as he got up from the couch to go and get dressed. Serena sighed as she got up and went to go get dressed herself. After the two were done, they made their way out of the Pokémon center and started on their way towards Geosenge Town.

The group made their way towards Geosenge Town and stopped by the Pokémon center to rest up a bit. They then started making their way to Shalour City through reflection cave after awhile they finally made it out and were back on the road towards Shalour City.

"Hey, what's that?" Ash said.

The group noticed a bunch of cabins around a beach area. They ran up to the area as they looked around and saw a bunch of trainers talking amongst each other.

"Ash!"

Ash looked up to see Professor Sycamore and smiled at him. "Professor! It's great to see you."

"You made it just in time." The Professor smiled.

"What is this place?" Serena asked.

"This is my Pokémon Summer camp. I organized this camp in order to bring Trainers and Pokémon closer together!" Professor Sycamore smiled.

"That's amazing." Dawn said as she looked around at all the trainers with their Pokémon. Professor looked over at her and smiled, "I don't believe I've seen you before."

"Huh? Oh, I'm Dawn! I came all the way here from Sinnoh." She smiled.

"Wow, that's amazing!" Professor Sycamore said.

"Professor, everything's all set up." A voice said. Ash's eyes widened as he looked behind the Professor to see a boy brown spiked up hair. "Gary!?" Both Ash and Dawn shouted.

"Well well, if it isn't Ash." Gary smiled as he crossed his arms at him.

"Oh, you two know each other?" Professor Sycamore asked.

"Sure do. Ash and I are both from Pallet Town." Gary said.

"What are you doing here, Gary?" Dawn asked.

"Oh, Dawn too?" Gary smiled. "Well, if you must know I'm helping Professor Sycamore set up his summer camp."

"Wow, that's so cool." Dawn smiled. Gary chuckled at her as they began talking about his grandfather and his poems. Dawn smiled as Gary recited one of his poems. Ash glared over at Gary as he talked to Dawn, he then went up the two of them.

"You still haven't changed a bit, huh, Oak?" Ash asked.

"Neither have you, Ketchum." Gary said through gritted teeth as they both stared each other down.

Serena hasn't said a word. She was familiar with the boy with brown spiked hair but couldn't tell how she knew him.

"Come on, Ketchum. Lighten up. Having a hot headed personality isn't going to get you anywhere." Gary said.

Serena's eyes widened at the statement and suddenly, she remembered where it had come from.

"Haha! Straw hat girl, straw hat girl!" A boy with brown hair laughed.

"Stop it, you big meanie!" A young Serena pouted.

"Oh come on, take a joke." The boy said putting his arms behind his head. "Having a hot headed personality isn't going to get you anywhere."

Serena went up to Gary, clenching her fists at him. "It's.. It's you!" She shouted.

The whole group stared at her confused as well as Gary, who had no idea what was happening right now. He watched as the chestnut girl glared at him with clenched fists.

"You're the boy from before! You always used to tease me.. and.. and—"

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Gary asked.

Serena looked at the boy, appalled by his question. She clenched her fists some more and and shouted at him, "I'm the straw hat girl!! You always teased me about my hat back then!"

"Doesn't ring a bell." He said.

"B-But, you—"

"Gary, I need you to help the others set up the equipment if you can." Professor Sycamore said.

"On it. See ya guys later." Gary said as he walked away towards one of the cabins.

"Ash, I'd like to invite you and your friends to join in on my summer camp. I think it'd be a great way for you to bond with your new Pokémon." Professor Sycamore stated.

Ash smiled up at him, "Yeah, sure! We'd love to! Right, guys?" He asked looking over at his group as they all agreed to take part in the summer camp together.

"Great, you'll need to come up with a team name as well. The first activity starts tomorrow, you can tell me your team name by then. See ya!" Professor Sycamore said as he walked away.

And thus, the Pokémon summer camp begins.
