"Ash, do you mind passing my tools?" Clemont asked as he prepared to work on his new invention. Unfortunately, the raven haired trainer wasn't even paying attention. "Ash? Hello? Ash!" Clemont called as he looked at the boy who was leaning on his tool box staring at something.

Clemont got up from where he was and went over to Ash. "Ash, can't you hear me?" Clemont looked at his friend and noticed a goofy smile on his face. He raised an eyebrow at him. "Ash?"

Ash snapped out of it and looked over at Clemont as he fell over with the tool box causing all the tools to spill out and onto the ground. Everyone turned towards the raven haired trainer and ran up to him with concern.

"Ash, are you okay?" Asked a certain bluenette.

"Uh, y-yeah!" Ash chuckled. "I don't know what came over me. Sorry about that, Clemont." He apologized as he picked up the tools and put them back into the tool box.

"It's fine. Why were you spacing out though? It isn't like you." Clemont asked but he knew the answer to that.

Ash's eyes widened as he looked around at everyone. His eyes landed on the bluenette again and he turned away trying to hide his blush.

"Probably thinking about his next gym badge." The bluenette chuckled.

"You may be right, Dawn. Ash is always thinking about Pokemon!" A young blonde laughed.

"Oh, come on, guys. Ash doesn't always think about Pokemon. He also thinks about food!" A chestnut haired girl added causing the other two to laugh along with her.

"Hey, that's just mean, Serena!" Ash pouted.

"Serena was only joking, Ash." Dawn smiled. "But seriously, it really is unlike you to be spacing out like that. Something on your mind?"

Ash turned away from her. Truth is, he wasn't spacing out at all. He was actually staring at the bluenette from afar and admiring her. But, he wouldn't tell her that. What would she think of him? A weirdo? Creep? He couldn't bare the thought of her leaving him and never speaking to him again.

"Ash?" She called out to him.

"Y-yeah! I'm fine! I just- WOAH." He shouted as he tripped over his own foot dropping the toolbox again. Luckily, he had closed it good so none of the tools fell out.

Dawn blinked at the boy in front of her. "You're really clumsy today, Ash." She said as she helped the boy up.

Serena at the two and chuckled, "Dawn is so dense..."

Bonnie looked up at the chestnut haired girl, "what do you mean?"

"The reason Ash is so clumsy is because he obviously likes Dawn." Serena smiled.

"Really? Wow! Wait till I tell Da-" Bonnie smiled excitedly but before she could run off Serena had stopped her.

"Not the best idea, Bonnie. It's best if Ash tells her himself." Serena told her.
