The Only Exception

Who takes care of you? [Filler]

Woops, another filler! I had an idea but it wouldn't fit into the story. Also, don't ask me why don't I just put it into a new story because honestly, ITS TOUGH. I did a mistake like that and wasn't able to complete most of my stories when I started creating new ones.

So here's a short filler while you wait for Chapter 21!

Today was the Poke puff contest and Serena had signed up to compete against Miette, a girl who thinks her Poke puffs are a lot better than Serena's. The two had met yesterday and instantly became rivals.

Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie watched as Serena worked together with Fennekin to bake their Poke Puffs. "Their Poke puffs look really good!" Bonnie smiled.

"They sure do." Ash said.

"Not only that, Serena and Fennekin are really in sync." Clemont smiled as he watched the two work together to finish up their Poke puffs.

"Time's up bakers!" Gena, a Poke puff master, announced as all trainers stopped their baking and presented their Poke puffs to the judges by placing them on a long table. They then went and sat down on the stands waiting for the judges to taste their Poke puffs.

"You were just amazing out there!" Bonnie smiled.

"Thanks, Bonnie." Serena smiled.

"We all know who's going to win though." Miette smirked.

Serena glared at her, "it's going to be me!"

Just then, Gena went up to the microphone and told everyone it was time to see who would move on to the final round. Before she could, Bonnie went up to her and asked her if she would take care of her brother. Clemont, feeling embarrassed, scolded her as he carried her off with his aipom arm and fled the contest.

"Take care of her brother, huh?" Miette said as she got up from her seat and went and sat next to Ash. "So, Ash, do you already have someone to take care of you?"

Ash's eyes widened at her as he thought about the one person that can actually take care of him and that was the blue haired coordinator from Sinnoh. It's been awhile since he's talked to her, maybe he'll give her a call after her the contest?

Ash snapped out of his thoughts as he looked at Miette and smiled. "Of course." He said as he began thinking about the coordinator again.

Both Miette and Serena looked at him surprised, mostly Serena, because she did not think that he actually had someone taking care of him.
