Update.

PLEASE READ:

Notice that I deleted some of my stories that were unfinished and were just one shots. I'm trying to clean out my Wattpad as of now to avoid a huge mix of completed stories and stories that just went on hiatus. So, I'm sorry if your favorite story was deleted.

Don't worry, I won't be deleting this one, promise.

So yeah, that's all I have to say. Thank you for reading and understanding!

Enjoy. :)

"I can't believe you told her I was here. It was supposed to be a surprise." Drew pouted.

"Oh, lighten up! She was gonna find out eventually." May smiled as she patted her boyfriend's back.

Drew rolled his eyes at her and crossed his arms as he looked over at Dawn who was hardly paying attention to them at all. She was lost in thought, wondering what she was going to do about Ash. Drew lightly punched her shoulder and she looked up at him. "You alright, Dawn?"

Dawn smiled at her best friend and nodded her head at him.

"May! Drew!" The three of them turned around to see Ash walking up to them with Serena behind him. "Wow, what a surprise." Ash smiled.

May looked over at Dawn as the starlight haired coordinator lightly shook her head at her. May sighed as she put on the fakest smile she ever could. "Great to see you again, Ash." She greeted.

"Yeah, it's been awhile." Drew said as he went up to him and they both fist bumped each other. Drew noticed Serena but brushed her off as he turned his attention towards Dawn. "You didn't tell me you were traveling with him again."

"Huh? Oh, I thought that.. May would've told you—"

"Hey, May and Drew. I want you guys to meet my girlfriend, Serena. She's going to be performing in the upcoming Showcase tomorrow." Ash smiled as he introduced Serena to both May and Drew. Dawn clenched her fists at him but didn't show that she was hurt.

"Oh, uh.. that's great." Drew said, a little bit confused. He noticed how Ash had cut off Dawn from finishing her sentence and found it kind of rude. Ash was lucky Drew wasn't one to get mad over something like that. He looked over at Dawn, "you sure you're alright?"

Dawn stopped clenching her fists and looked over at Drew nervously. She smiled at him, "yeah. I just remembered that I forgot something outside so I'll be going now. In the meantime, why don't you guys.. catch up? Bye!!" Dawn said as she ran out the Pokémon center with everyone looking at her confused except for Ash.

He didn't chase after her. He didn't want to. He couldn't face her after what happened that night. All he could think about was their kiss and how stupid he felt after that.

"Is Dawn alright?" Drew asked as he looked over at May.

May smiled nervously at Drew. "Yeah! She's alright. I'm pretty sure she's just nervous for her first showcase."

"Hmm.. alright."

May sighed. Thank god boys are oblivious. She looked over at Ash and glared at him for the way he was treating her as if she didn't exist. "Hey, Ash. Can we talk for a minute?" May asked.

"Uh, I—"

"Great." May said as she grabbed him by his sleeve and pulled him away from Drew and Serena.

She pushed him away from her as she crossed her arms at him. "What is wrong with you? Why are you acting as if Dawn doesn't exist!?"

"I don't get what you mean." He said, trying to avoid the subject.

"You know what I mean! What!? Just because she rejected you after your kiss!?" May shouted angrily. "How do you think she feels!?"

"Who cares!? If she doesn't care about me then I sure don't care about her!"

Before Ash knew it, someone had punched him in the face and he fell to the ground. Serena screamed as she went beside him and tried to help him. Ash looked up to see Drew with an angry expression and one fist clenched.

"You wanna say that again, Ketchum? Huh?" Drew said angrily as he was about to throw another punch towards Ash. Ash, on the other hand, wasn't going to take it. He grabbed Drew's hand and pushed him and the two began fighting.

Both May and Serena tried to separate their boyfriends but had no luck. Clemont and Bonnie also came out of their room to see Ash and Drew fighting one another. Clemont tried to separate Ash from Drew but the raven haired trainer was a lot stronger than him. Clemont fell back as Ash and Drew continued fighting.

"YOU DON'T EVER HURT MY BEST FRIEND! EVER!" Drew shouted angrily.

"YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING." Ash shouted back.

The two kept going at it. Before Ash could throw another punch at Drew, someone had stepped in front of him and Ash had stopped himself.

"Dawn.." Ash said as he slowly lowered his fists.

She furrowed her eyebrows at him as she turned to look at Drew. "Are you alright?"

Drew took a few hits, even for a coordinator, he was pretty strong. He smiled at her reassuringly, "yeah, of course." May smiled as she held onto his arm. Dawn looked back at Ash who was looking at her with guilt. Dawn looked down at the ground sadly.

She sighed, "I'm glad you're alright at least." She said as she walked out of the Pokémon center once again.

Ash watched as she walked out again. May and Drew looked over at Ash and saw how he watched Dawn walk out the door. Serena grabbed onto his arm and tried to get him to come with her. Instead, he pulled away from her and ran out the Pokémon center after Dawn. Everyone stared in shock — except May, who smiled at the raven haired trainer.

Ash ran and ran as he looked around for Dawn. After awhile, he spotted her sitting on a bench that looked out towards the ocean. He walked up to the starlight haired coordinator as she looked up at him then turned her head away from him. "What do you want?" She asked.

He sat down next to her on the bench. "Thanks for.. stopping me and Drew.."

He heard he sniffle a bit, "no problem I guess.."

Ash could tell she was crying and he felt really bad. "You know.. I think.. I really did deserve that punch from Drew."

Dawn didn't say anything.

"I mean... what I meant to say is.. I'm sorry. I really hurt you, didn't I?"

It was silent.

"That's alright.. you don't have to say anything. I just wanna be able to apologize to you and make things right between us. I'm sorry for acting as if you don't exist and not considering how you felt." He said.

Dawn looked over at him and he smiled at her. She noticed how he had a few bruises on his face and a little blood. She sighed as she took off her scarf and used it to wipe the blood away. "Apology accepted." She smiled.

Ash smiled at her as they both embraced each other into a hug. After awhile they pulled away from each other.

"So, to make it up to you. How about we hang out for the whole day together tomorrow?"

Dawn furrowed her eyebrows at him and chuckled, "Sure?"

Sorry for the late update again. As per usual, I'm busy. Hope you enjoyed.
