Hi, sorry for the late update! I haven't had much ideas in awhile.

After their time in Shalour City, Korrina had told Ash to go and challenge the next gym in Coumarine City. Dawn had also informed them that before Coumarine City was Lagoon Town where the Pokémon Showcase would be held. Ash smiled at her and told her they'd stop by there first before Coumarine City.

The group said their goodbyes to Korrina and started making their way to Lagoon Town. They started making their way through the forest and noticed an open field up ahead. Dawn smiled as she ran ahead of them and looked around.

"It's an open field." Clemont said as he looked around.

Serena opened up her digital map and looked at where they were now. "Says here that Lagoon Town is just straight ahead of this field." She said as she put away her map.

"Maybe we should train here a bit." Dawn smiled.

Serena crossed her arms at her, "sorry, but Ash has a gym battle and I know he can't wait to get to Coumarine City as soon as possible."

Ash walked towards Dawn, "nah, I think training is a great idea. Plus, Dawn can show you some of her contest moves."

"That would be great! I'd love to see what a coordinator is like." Clemont smiled.

"And I wanna see all of Dawn's cute Pokémon!" Bonnie said excitedly.

Serena glared at Dawn then rolled her eyes as she turned away from the rest of them. "Fine."

Ash looked over at Dawn and smiled, "how about you show us your contest moves first? I'd love to see just what kind of combinations you've come up with." Dawn nodded her head at him. "Sure!"

Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie all sat down together as they saw Dawn in her old contest dress. "Does she really have to be in a dress?" Serena asked annoyed.

"In Sinnoh, coordinators always look their best as well as their Pokémon." Ash explained.

"I can't wait to see this!" Clemont said excitedly.

Dawn started her little show as she called out Mamoswine and Pachirisu from their pokeballs. Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie noticed how it looked different when they came out from their pokeballs. "I've never seen a pokeball do that." Clemont said.

"That's from what's called a ball capsule and seal which makes a Pokémon's entrance really shine." Ash explained.

"It's so cool! I want one!" Bonnie smiled.

Serena showed no emotion, she was not impressed at all about Dawn and her contests nor was she even interested.

Dawn began her performance as she told Mamoswine to use ice shard. Once it did, it had shattered the ice with its tusk and it began to fly around Pachirisu then form into a ball of ice. Clemont and Bonnie looked at the ball of ice in shock. Dawn smiled as she told Pachirisu to use discharge which caused the ice to shine beautifully.

"That's one of Dawn's combinations called Ice Chandelier. It was one of the few that she used in the grand festival." Ash explained to them.

Clemont and Bonnie were impressed with the way Dawn and her Pokémon were in real sync with each other. Serena glared at Dawn, feeling jealous about the way they all admired her.

Dawn had showed them a couple more combinations and eventually finished her little show. She bowed and thanked everyone for watching. Ash smiled and walked up towards the starlight haired girl, "you sure came up with tons of combinations and new moves. I bet I could use some of those moves that in my gym battles! Mind helping me train?"
