Hey I'm back to you with an update of course.

I watched Detective Pikachu and it was AMAZING. Loved everything about it. If you haven't watched it yet, I recommend you do!

Anyways, I'm working on some pearlshipping art and it'll be posted on my Ko-fi and probably my Patreon. I'll update you guys on that later!

"And that concludes our Pokémon Rookie Class Showcase! Congratulations again to Shauna and her beautiful Pokémon. All you other performers were wonderful as well! Join us again for the next Pokémon Showcase! Au Revoir!"

Dawn walked out of her dressing room to be greeted by Shauna who was smiling at her. "You were great out there Dawn."

Dawn smiled, "you were better."

Shauna smiled as she held her hand out to her, "til next time."

Dawn shook her hand and nodded her head at her. "Til next time." She smiled as she waved goodbye to Shauna. Drew came up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. Dawn looked over at him surprised.

"Let's have a talk." He smiled.

Dawn looked back at May who gave her a thumbs  signaling her that it was okay. Dawn smiled at her as she walked off with her best friend to talk. Drew always did this after every contest she lost and May didn't mind. She trusted them both.

"Hey, where are Dawn and Drew going?" Ash asked.

"Drew's probably gonna give her a pep talk after today's Showcase." May chuckled.

Ash watched as they walked off together and couldn't help but feel jealous. He shook his head after remembering that Dawn was in love with someone else. He shouldn't be jealous because he knew she didn't like him back and that he also had a girlfriend.

"Where's Serena?" He asked.

"I saw her run off but I'm not sure where." Bonnie said.

"Hmm.. I'll find her." Ash said as he walked through Coumarine City looking for the chestnut haired girl. After a few minutes, he found her at the docks looking out at the sea. He ran up to her just when she started to break down. "Serena!" He shouted worriedly as he went up to her and hugged her.

He hugged her and tried his best to comfort her. She stopped crying and looked up at Ash who gave her a worried look. She furrowed her eyebrows at him, "I really messed up.. didn't I? I really thought I could win this thing but I lost.. I'm so.. I'm sorry." She cried.

Ash looked at her sympathetically and pulled her back into a hug. "No, don't apologize. There's nothing to apologize for. It was your first Showcase and you were amazing. You'll definitely do better on the next one."

Serena smiled at him. "You're right." She then looked down at the ground and thought about something. "You know what." She said as she pulled out a pair of scissors from her backpack. "Time to start fresh." She got up from where she was sitting with Ash and walked towards the end of the docks.

"Serena, what are you—"

Before Ash could finish his sentence he noticed Serena's hair falling off little by little. His eyes widened as he watched the girl cut her hair in front of him. After she was done, she turned towards him and gave him a smile.

"What do you think?" She asked him.

She looked so different. No, she looked beautiful. It really suited her well. "You look.. beautiful." Ash's eyes widened as he turned away while Serena had a small blush on her face.
