I'm back! >:D With an update for you guys! DUH

I've been stuck with writer's block for like... awhile... but, I recently had some ideas again :'D I'm so happy to update this story!
Also, my pearlshipping AU will be on Hiatus. Sorry about that!

And please don't go saying that it's not that hard to write an AU because it really is. I've been going back to back between the show and the story to get parts of the AU right.

Also, if you're into Miraculous Ladybug, check out my new story "The Lying Game" and tell me what you think!

Anyways...

Enjoy!

"Good morning, Ash." Serena smiled sweetly as she pinched her boyfriend's cheeks. Ash, still sleepy turned away from her. Serena pouted as she turned him back to face her, "Ash! It's morning!"

Ash opened one eye to see that there was barely any light. "What time is it?" He asked.

"Probably six." Serena guessed.

"Six? You woke me up at six? I'm going back to bed." He said as he pulled the covers over him and tried to go back to sleep again.

Serena was getting frustrated as she pulled the covers off of him. "Ash! Stop being lazy and just get up already!" She shouted as she grabbed his hand and pulled him up from his sleeping.

His eyes showed signs of wanting to sleep some more. His body felt like it had been run over by a hundred Tauros. He wanted nothing than to go back to sleep but nope, Serena had woken him up and dragged him out to help with breakfast. Who even makes breakfast this early? The cold morning wind blew against him and he felt himself shiver. He looked over at the campfire which had already burned out and sighed. Oh how he wished he was still in his tent sleeping.

"Ash, could you pass me the pancake batter?" Serena smiled.

Ash handed over the batter to Serena in a rather harsh way than he intended. Serena didn't really notice and continued making breakfast. He sat down as he tried to catch some sleep some more. However, Serena has woken him up to get some water to clean up the dishes from last night. Ash groaned as he got up tiredly, grabbed the bucket, and went to get some water.

The sun was already shining and Ash was still sleepy. No, to make it clear, he was actually cranky. He's never been agitated before until he was woken up too early by his 'girlfriend.' He mumbled under his breath angrily about Serena and everything around him. He then felt someone's hand on his shoulder and gritted his teeth as he turned around to face them.

"What do you want!?" He shouted.

He realized it was Dawn who was now staring at him in shock for the way he yelled. "Woah, someone definitely woke up on the wrong side of his sleeping bag." She said.

Ash sighed, "sorry, Dawn. Didn't mean to yell at you." He said as he sat down, not at all caring about the bucket of water anymore.

Dawn examined him for a bit.

"What?" He said rather harsh.

"You were woken up too early, huh? Which explains why you're so cranky." Dawn said.

"Yeah. Really cranky. She won't even let me go back to sleep can you believe that?" Ash said.

Dawn chuckled at him as she looked around and spotted a tree that provided a good amount of shade from the sun. "Follow me." She said as she got up and went over to the tree with Ash following behind her. She sat down under the tree and looked up to see a few rays of sunlight shining through. It was warm and relaxing which meant that it was definitely the perfect place for Ash.

She patted the ground beside her, gesturing him to sit down.

"What are we doing here Dawn?" Ash asked as he sat down beside her under the tree.

"How about you lie down and take a good rest?" Dawn smiled.

Ash looked around and felt the warm summer breeze on his skin. He smiled as he looked up at the tree to see little rays of sunshine peeking through. It was definitely relaxing and he felt like he could sleep in peace.

He laid down on the grass as he slowly closed his eyes. Dawn smiled at him and just as she was about to get up to head back to camp, she was pulled down on the grass.

She was facing Ash and stared at him confused as to why he pulled her down so suddenly.

Ash, with both eyes shut, spoke, "Stay and take a nap with me."

Dawn began blushing and turned away to hide it. "Uh, I gotta get the water back to camp or—"

"Let them worry about it." Ash yawned. "Please stay, Dawn. I feel really relaxed when you're around and it'll help me sleep better." He begged.

Dawn smiled lightly at him as she moved a few strands of hair from his face. "Fine..." She said giving in.

Instead of laying sideways, she laid down on her back to look up at the tree again. She could hear Ash's breathing and knew that he was asleep. Suddenly, she felt herself getting sleepy as well. Before she knew it, she was knocked out just like her friend.

"Sent Ash to get one.. just ONE bucket of water. What is he even doing!?" Serena shouted in frustration.

"I'll go check!" Bonnie smiled.

Serena sighed and smiled at the little girl. "Thank you, Bonnie. Hopefully he didn't fall in the stream."

And with that, Bonnie went to go find Ash. She looked around the stream to see that only the bucket was there. Oh no, did Ash really fall into the stream again? She looked around some more and noticed him sleeping under a tree.... with Dawn? She went up to the both of them and stared at the two and smirked.

The two of them were sleeping next to each other with their hands intertwined. Did they know that their hands were intertwined before they went to sleep? Probably not. Bonnie couldn't resist to capture the moment on camera.

She took out her camera and took a picture of the two. The film came out and she looked over it and smirked. Oh, how she couldn't wait to show them this when they woke up.

Woo! Hope you liked this one. Was it good enough pearlshipping for you? I tried to make it fluff but not too fluff if you know what I mean LOL
