Isabella's POV
After retreating back to my room, I grab my phone. I walk to the kitchen telling my mom goodbye and that I needed to go talk to Kyle. She smiled and I was off to his house. About ten minutes later, I'm walking up his street when I see another car parked in his driveway. I smile to myself. I jog up to his door. I do our secret knock and seconds later the door flies open. I smile and we hug. "Abeja! What are you doing here? I thought you and Aiden were going to spend Christmas in New York." I smile. "We did, but I wanted to visit my Ma, and there's also something important I need to talk to you about." He nods and motions me to come in. As I walk in, my eyes instantly find their way to a beautiful girl standing outside with a cigarette in her hand. His eyes follow my line of sight and he becomes cherry red.
"Is that her?!" I excitedly scream. It must've been a really loud scream because her eyes find mine. He shakes his head embarrassedly. I let out a squeal then walk to the back door. I calmly open the door then hug her. She sets the cigarette in the ashtray then awkwardly hugs me back. "You're the girl who finally tamed Kyle, hey?" She blushes. "Hi, I'm Vienna." I shake her hand. "Isabella Alvarez." Her eyes widen. "The model?" I laugh. "That's how I'm recognized now? Eh, could be worse." She laughs. "Dude, I'm a big fan. When Kyle talks about you, he's never described you as this beautiful." I throw my head back and laugh. "That's because I call him ugly so he calls me ugly." She shakes her head.
"Well, it's finally nice to meet you. I've heard so many good things about you." She says smiling. We walk back inside to Kyle smiling sheepishly. "It's nice to meet you too. You know," I say, my eyes meeting Kyle's. "It's pretty cool how you've got him to stop his childish ways. I couldn't even do so." She blushes, quiet now. I shake my head. "I know because we just met, this is horrible to ask, but, I came to talk to Kyle about something important, could you," She smiles waving her hand. "No, it's okay, I understand, I'll finish my smoke. You two catch up and stuff." She says smiling. I catch her eye and give her a thankful smile. She nods, walking out the door.
I pull Kyle to the couch and he grabs my shoulders. "Calm down, you're shaking." He says. I was? I didn't even realize. Without Aiden occupying my thoughts, I guess the idea of me being pregnant found it's way into my head again. I take a few deep breaths. "I-I'm pregnant." His eyes widen. "You're a hundred percent sure." I shake my head. "No, b-but there are many signs pointing to that conclusion." He stands up with his hands interlocked behind his head. His muscles flex as he grows tenser. "It's Aiden's right? He knows?" I nod. "Of course it's his. And yes, he basically helped me come to this conclusion." He lets out a breath. "How does he feel about you being pregnant?" He asks. Aiden's reaction plays in my mind once more and I smile.
"He's quite happy actually. He's excited to become a dad. We're even moving in together." Aiden's eyes widen. Then he sits down next to me and smiles. He grabs my hands then kisses my forehead. "I'm happy for you. It looks like your life is coming together perfectly." I smile sheepishly into my lap. "Yeah, I think you're right," I reply, falling into his arms for a hug. "Why did you need to talk to me about it so badly?" He asks as we stand up. I shrug. "I don't know. I felt you should hear from me and not some gossip website or anything." He smiles. "Well, thank you. Now, do you want to get to know Vienna?" I nod quickly. He laughs and we go out back. We sit in his patio furniture talking about many things. Mostly, Vienna learning about me and me learning about her. One of my favorite things was her name. She was named after Billy Joel's song 'Vienna'.
After making us lunch and a few more hours of talking, I walk to the small convenience store we had. I go straight the pregnancy tests. As I'm paying for it, I see a bunch of the guys from high school. They all stare at me with teasing eyes. I grab my bag walking out of the store. I stop and throw "Yes, I lost my virginity," over my shoulder. They all burst into whistles and shouts. I roll my eyes, so immature. As I come home, I quickly run into the bathroom. I take the test. After waiting the recommended time, I check the results. Two lines. I let a breath out. To be honest, it didn't really phase me. I already knew I was pregnant.
