With the knowledge of the name and character of God and His son Yeshua, I began to further question the teachings in the temple endowment. Aside from the incorrect use of Elohim and Jehovah, I had always been troubled by the creation narrative presented in the endowment ceremony. There are three accounts of the creation in the cannon of accepted scripture in the LDS church. They are, the book of Genesis in the Bible, and the Books of Abraham and Moses in the Pearl of Great Price. All three of these accounts are in agreement on what took place and when from the story of creation. Yet when you are instructed in the endowment the order of creation is completely different. (see below chart) Which is the truth? I have asked others about this and most, simply say, "I never noticed the difference!" As for me, I'm of the opinion I will go with the majority presented in the three accounts documented in the scripture. This is a major problem, as the order of creation was deliberate and was used as the foundation of the future of creation.
