I named this work My Israel for a reason. In Hebrew Israel literally means to struggle with God. This is exactly what this journey has been to me, my struggle with God, or My Israel. I have found a great love for the Biblical Hebrew language and it is in many ways the main motivator for my separating myself from the Mormon faith.

As part of this work, I will be highlighting the differences in my beliefs and those held officially by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. If you have no desire to open your mind to the possibility that incorrect doctrines could have crept into the church over the nearly 200 years since its inception, I would refer you to The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ, and read carefully what happened about 200 years after Christ himself established his church on the North American continent. If this does not allow you to open your mind to the possibility of the adversary deceiving even the elect, I suggest you stop reading now. However, if you can open your mind to the possibility that the adversary is real and has the ability to deceive even the elect, you might venture and possibly learn some new truths.

My prayer is that after you have read this work, you will come to know the actual name of the Creator of the Universe and perhaps give you a desire to learn to read the scriptures in the original languages in which they were written. I also hope you will have a greater desire to keep the laws or commandments of God.
