Let's discuss the doctrines behind temple marriage for a moment. According to LDS doctrine, the family is eternal and husbands and wives can, if worthy, have and eternal increase and will be able to become Gods and create their own planets and ultimately be EQUAL to Yehovah God. To the human mind this sounds wonderful! But let's look at it from another perspective. Why was Lucifer cast out of heaven? He wanted to be EQUAL to Yehovah God! But again what do the scriptures have to say about this? I refer you back to Isaiah 43:10-11 I quoted earlier and I will just quote the main point of the verse here "before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me." There you have it, God cannot lie, right?
