It's been practically a week since that whole thing went down and my conscience has been eating the hell out of me. My grandma left yesterday morning to return back to Arizona so it was back to me, momma, Elena and Dana. When they arrived home and saw my sprained ankle I just told them that I walked off the porch wrong and fell. Thankfully it was healed a lot before I had to go to school today so I didn't need the crutches but momma did tell me to not stand around too much
"Noel, baby you okay?" Momma asked as she sat across from Elena and I at the table. I looked at her with a smile
"Yeah, I'm good"
"You sure? You been acting all sad lately. Is it because of your ankle? It wont be fat for long" she said in a sympathetic tone but I frowned, looking down at my ankle
"My ankle fat?"
Elena started snickering and so did she. My phone began to ring so I looked down at it, seeing liyah's name pop up
"What's liyah calling you for this early in the morning?" Momma asked and I shrugged, answering it and put the phone to my ear
"Bitch!" She started, being loud already
"Unlike you, I do have sensitive ears" I told her and she smacked her lips
"You know I'm loud when I got some tea"
The minute she said that, I shifted in my seat a little
"Tea about who?"
"This hoe Madison"
I immediately furrowed my brows. I could usually tell if liyah was joking when she calls Madison any kind of names but this particular time, she sounded serious. Meaning Madison must've done something wrong
"What happened with her?"
"So you heard about trey and the guys yet?"
I shook my head as if she could see me "no.. what happened to trey?"
Both Elena and my momma looked at me while I waited for liyah to finish
"Ain nobody heard from him, Domo or the other boys in a week. He got into it with his momma and she kicked him out that's the last time she heard from him"
"That's crazy" I sighed and looked at Elena
"What happened to trey?" Momma asked so my eyes shifted over to her
"He got kicked outta his mommas house and now nobody knows where he at"
She shook her head and stabbed her fork into her eggs "that boy ain't gone learn until something happen to his ass. She want him out of that street stuff but he'd rather follow up them broke ass friends of his and disappoint his momma. God forbid something happen to him, but maybe it'll reach him a lesson"
Elena turned her head to hide from laughing and I just shook my head while liyah laughed through the phone as well
"Momma going off ain't it?"
"Girl when she ain't going off?" I responded back to liyah "now What was the tea about Madison?"
"Oh, that bitch..." she started again, popping her tongue "so she been all sad and shit about this whole trey thing, writing long ass paragraphs, lip syncing to sad songs and shit all on snap.. you ain't seen it?"
