"juniper, im kinda busy. can we talk later?"
"oh sure, i just wanted to te-" juniper's face dropped in disappointment
"ok thanks. i'll talk to you later. bye," leo disconnected the call
juniper sighed sadly and dropped her phone on the kitchen island. she climbed the counter and sat on it.
though she understood leo was busy, she couldn't help but feel ignored.after calling him 3 times, he picked up only to tell her that he busy. juniper wanted to tell him earlier to see if leo could tag along but that seems out of the question now. she also wanted to ask where they stood in their relationship.
a second later, georgia walked into the kitchen with a gloomy expression.
"is there something wrong?" juniper asked out of curiosity
georgia opened the fridge and took out a beverage. she shrugged and leaned against the kitchen island. she took a chug of her bottled lemonade and wiped her mouth.
"johnny is too busy to come along with us," she simply answered
juniper blinked in astonishment. was being busy a typical excuse for a boy?
"anyways, i think that it's ok. besides it would be weird for johnny if all girls went. well, besides harvey. i also had time to come up with a plan. after thinking about it, rushing in the place and shutting it down doesn't seem too easy...." georgia ranted
juniper smiled weakly, because she knew that she was now georgia's victim. this conversation was going to last a very long time.

tate was surrounded by many pillows and blankets. she didn't bother packing yet because she felt too tired. it seemed like as each day passes by, she becomes more and more tired.
tate slammed the book closed and threw it on the ground. she yawned and rolled onto her back. she leg her eyes rest for a bit, but it wasn't long before his face showed up in her mind again.
tate opened her eyes. it was hard to her to forget about liam, because she didn't want to. liam's only family was her. if tate were to forget about him, he would be lost from everyone's mind.
it would be like he never existed. she couldn't let that happen, but it hurt her to think of him.
tate didn't realize it but her nails were digging into the flesh on her palms. when she released her grip, there were red crescent marks that weren't going to fade for a while.
tate sighed once more and picked up the book she threw on the ground from the earlier.
this was a repetitive action tate would do all day. she would lay in her bed, bored, and read a book until she was also bored with that. but when she wasn't occupied with something, tate would think of liam again and try to find something to busy herself.
at this point, tate couldn't keep track of how many times she had read the story. she only had a few books, and they have all been read more than 10 times. she used the excuse of 'unnecessary' to buy more books.
it wasn't long after when she became bored of the book again. she closed and and dropped it on the bed space beside her.
"i might as well begin packing," she mumbled to herself
seconds later, she dove into her closet filled with clothes and began picking out outfits. tate didn't know how long they were going to be away, so she packed for 10 days.
when 15 minutes passed, tate was done packing. unlike the others, she was very decisive. she didn't ask questions like 'this or that'. she just simply chose.
tate found herself bored again. she was now walking around in her small bedroom space. there was truly nothing for her to do.
"...should i shower? i can't remember if i did yesterday...or the day before that..." she questioned herself
tate shrugged went to fetch a towel from the closet downstairs. as she began walking up, she heard a loud crack. she ran upstairs, thinking it was catherine throwing a fit again.
to her surprise, catherine was asleep and the noise had actually belong to celena's room. it was a mystery how catherine didn't wake up.
tate neared celena's room and placed an ear on the door. it was very silent. tate hesitated on speaking, since she wasn't a hundred percent sure if the noose came from celena's room.
after she mustered up courage, she spoke out,"hey celena, are you ok? i heard a loud noise,"
"im..fine and..harvey doesn't want to go, so i'll just ask him where the place is instead."
she thought heard celena's voice tremble, but pushed the thought away. she probably heard wrong or imagined it.
"oh ok," tate slowly answered
she wanted to believe celena, but it felt odd. had celena hurt herself? maybe she just dropped something. whatever had happened, tate was curious.
"but are you sure you're fine?" she asked again
"im ok," celena's voice wavered
this time tate was convinced something wrong.
"ok i'll stop bothering you haha," she faked laughed
she was answered with silence as celena didn't reply. tate was beginning to regret was she was about to do, but did it anyway. her protectiveness was stronger than her guilty consciences.
tate cautiously looked around to make sure nobody was watching. then, with a jolt, she transformed into a fly. she carefully flew under the door and entered celena's room.
tate knew she should be extra careful because if celena saw her and tried to kill her bug formed, it would hurt a lot. it wouldn't kill her, but it would hurt.
tate buzzed her way around the room, eyes scanning the wide space. celena's room was quite simple. her eyes bulged when she saw large black mark on he wood floor. she flew her way over an landed on the burnt wood.
confused, tate looked over at celena. the girl was crying softly. she was most likely trying to conceal it from the other girls. now, the girls were close, but they rarely ever saw each other cry. so when tate saw celena pour her heart out, she was shocked.
and when she finally noticed the lighting bolts swirling around celena's arm, she almost fainted. tate glanced back at the charred wood and gasped (if that was possible).
in all 37 years of her life, she had never seen celena use her powers.
celena lifted her head from her knees and stared at her hand.
"not again...i thought you went away!" she sobbed, "how am i supposed to pretend this didn't happen if you keep showing up? go away! i don't want you!"
then, a strong blast of electrical energy passed right by tate's bug form, and struck celena's bookshelf. one by one, all her books began tumbling down.
with horror, tate scramble from the floor and flew away. with one last look of celena's crying form, she exited the room. what she saw today, was to never be spoken of.
