chapter 26

Anjali pov :-

I came out of trance and  went inside the hospital . Arjun was no where to be found . I was staring around with wide eyes . Being a doctor I was curious to what all the facilities this hospital has, so I started romaing around the hospital.  This is the biggest hospital I have ever seen.  I'm impressed with the facilities they have.

Without my knowledge I was already on fifteenth floor now. But this floor is quiet and isolated. I was walking further when a guard stopped me.
"excuse, you not allowed here. This is a prohibited floor ".. He said to me.

"may I know why this is prohibited. I mean it's an hospital , why there is such place in the hospital? ". I questioned him.

"look miss I don't know who you are, it's our boss's private floor no-one is allowed here except doctors ,his men and himself ". He said in stern voice. He really wants me to get out from here, but not so soon buddy.

"may I know who is your boss ".
I questioned him, even though I know the answer.
"Mr arjun Oberoi. Now will you please get out of here ".. He was super irritated. I rolled my eyes at him and started walking out.

Seriously arjun have one prohibited  area at home, he have one in his hospital. I'm sure he has one at his office. He has so many secrets. I sighed in frustration because .

I came back to the first floor, where arjun was talking to the doctor.
"where have you been, I was searching for in the whole hospital ".. I said to him once he was done talking with doctor .

He turned to and stared into my eyes.
Then without saying he held my wrist and started dragging me. I didn't said anything. He stopped in front of a door ,which is ICU. He turned towards me "he wanted to see you " he said to me. I raised an eyebrow in questioning manner, not understanding what he was saying. But instead of answering my question.  He opened door and dragged me inside with him. I couldn't understand anything for a moment. I scanned the surroundings there was no one around, then my eye sight fell on the bed which was in the middle . My eyes widen when I saw the person laying on the bed.

Murali uncle..

I freed my wrist from arjuns hands and ran near the bed. Uncle was laying on the bed with oxygen mask and many tubes connected to his body.
"what happened to him ?". I yelled at Arjun . Tears pooled in eyes looking at his stage.

"he was attacked by enemies, but he is out of danger now ". Arjun said walking towards me.
I turned to face uncle, I held his hand and pressed it. Uncle slowly opened his eyes. He smiled when he saw me.
He slowly removed his oxygen mask.

"Anju, my dear. Thank you so much for coming ". He said clutching my hand. His voice was just like whisper. Seeing him like this I couldn't hold back my cries any longer, so I cried holding his hand.

"can I talk to her in private? ". He asked Arjun. I didn't hear his response but I just heard door closing sound.

"Anju please stop crying. I'm okay now " . Uncle said soothing me.
"you have to be okay for me uncle,  after dad your the only family I left ".. Saying this I cried even harder.

"I thought you hate me, after what I have done to you. I didn't wanted to die with your hatred Anju. So I called you to talk ".. He said. I wiped my eyes "I was angry on you that's it, and please don't talk about dieing ".i said in pleading tone.

"I'm happy to know that you don't hate me, but Anju believe me I did what is best for you. And arjun is best for you. Even Your dad would have done the same thing ". He said to me and I just nodded in response.
We talked for some more time. Then uncles wife came with dinner. She was happy to see me and insisted on me have lunch but arjun said we have to go and just dragged me with him.

Seriously what's with him and dragging me?

We got into the car, Arjun was driving.

Where is the driver from before..

I also noticed there were no bodyguards. I frown."what happened to the bodyguards? ". I questioned Arjun.
"there are in the hospital. For  Mr. Murali's protection ". He said in montone voice. I nodded .

We were far away from hospital, then suddenly I heard gunshots.
A truck came straight in our way, but arjun turned steering wheel and hit the divider instead of truck.
I almost hit my head to  head board but thanks to seat belt I didn't.

"love are you hurt? , ". Arjun questioned holding my face, looking for any kind of wound. I nodded my head saying I'm okay.

There were numerous gun shots. I'm sure they were aiming at us but non of the bullet reached us. I started to panic.

"hey, hey.angel don't worry nothing will happen to you. This car is bullet proof okay ".. He and started taking out guns, I stared at him with wide eyes.

He took out two guns from his waist, two from his coat, two from his socks. One from the dash board.

He had them always with him??

But my eyes widen more when he took my hand and handed me one of the gun. "what...what are you doing ". I questioned him in horror.

"angel listen to me properly.  No matter what happens, I repeat no matter what happens, Don't come out of the car.if any one comes to get you just shoot them . I'm clear ".. He said in dead serious tone. I couldn't help but node.

He turned to get down from the car.but I held his hand, he turned to me "please don't go, they have gun. They will hurt you. Why can't we just drive away ".. I said almost crying.

"turning my back to enemies is done by cowards, im not the one. And I have been in this kind of  situation a lot of times. Don't worry about me and stop crying ". He said wiping my tears .then he claimed my lips and kissed the hell out of me. Like its our last kiss. He pulled and again kissed my forehead, and got down from the car leaving me behind.

I was worried and scared as hell. I couldn't hear any sounds for few moments. But soon there were painful cries, gun shots. I was worried for arjun. He said not to get down from the car but sitting here doing nothing to save him,i can't take it anymore. So I got down from the car.

My eyes fell on the dead bodies on the ground. There was blood every where. I saw arjun beating Shit out off some man. But my widen when I saw a man aiming his gun at Arjun. Arjun didn't saw that.
I shouted at Arjun but he didn't hear me. So did the only one thing I can do.  I aimed my gun at the man who was aiming at Arjun and pulled the trigger, I heard a gun shot. Next moment I found myself falling on the ground.....
