chapter 34

Anjali pov :-

"It's because of your father ". I heard Arjun saying it.

"can you repeat it, I think I miss hear-" . But he cut me of..

"you heard it right angel, your father is the reason for whom iam today ".

"what? - I mean how? ". I jerked up from the bed, I was freaking out standing on the bed.

"clam down angel I'll tell you how just relax ok". Arjun said holding my hand and pulling me into him. He placed me between his legs, my head rested on his chest .

"it all started when after my parents death. I was left on streets, starving for food, shivering in cold. It was tough time for me. But my desire to seek revenge kept me fighting with my life . The crime rate in the city went on increasing. At the same time your dad was transferred here. He was strict officer, after his arrival the crime rate decreased a little. But he wanted the city to be crime free. He couldn't do it because the involvement of big shots in some gangs. He some how got to know about my family being murdered. So he searched for me knowing I'm the only one who know what happened. Finaly he found me. I told him everything. Then he realised that it's not easy to get evidence against that gang. He raised me with tough training. I thought he wanted me to become police officer and I was happy that I will seek my revenge. I made him my idol,but at the age of eighteen he somehow sent me into the Gange as an police informer. I would give him every information about the people involved in the Gange and evidence for it. I also killed each person who forced my sister on that night, but I couldn't kill that traitor friend  (Girish )of my dad. But one day I saw the gang leader forcing a maid. It brought back the memories of that night, I got in range and shot him on the head. Since I killed the leader, I became the leader of that Gang. That traitor ran away knowing my intention to kill him. Then I realized, I'm made to be a leader ". Arjun paused and looked down at me.

" your dad was very angry on me, because I became the leader. Me With doing all illegal business and expanding my gang allover Asia by killing the other Mafia leader. I was top on his hit list. But he didn't had any evidence against me. He hated me, but My respect for him never decreased. He is the reason for whom I'm today ". He said caressing my cheek . I was in trance , it's lots to take in. So technically my dad is the reason for arjun to became mafia leader.

"what are you thinking love ". Arjun questioned me by holding my chin and made me look at him.

"it's lot to take in, I didn't have any idea about it ". I took a deep breath and said
" if my dad hates you, then how come murali uncle being my dads best friend works for you?". I questioned him .

"well, Mr murali also trained me along with your dad, so he knows everything about me. But unlike your dad he didn't hate. So we are in good terms ". He said like its obvious thing,

"OK, I gave out a lot, that's enough for today no more questions. Let's sleep ". He said sliding down from the head board.

"arjun, arjun just one more question.
If you didn't killed my father. What were you doing here on that day? ".
I really wanted to know, why was he here on that day.

"I got information about the attack, I came to rescue him but I was late and couldn't rescue him ". He said shaking his head.

"so you knew that I was his daughter from the beginning ". It was supposed to be a question but came out as statement .

"no, I didn't know that you were his daughter until the moment you walked into the back yard and called him nanna. I knew the he have daughter, I even once saw your childhood pic in his wallet. But never knew that, it was you". He said.

"now enough of this questions, let's sleep ". Arjun laying down on the bed with me still leaning in his arms.

"arjun arjun.. Please the last question". I pleaded him.

"last question okay ". He said in stren Voice, I nodded then he signaled me to ask him.

"who killed my father ,arjun? ". I Asked him the question which was haunting since I saw the footage.

"that traitor friend of my dad, the thing is, your dad got some evidence against him and was about to submit it to the government but that bastard some how got to know about it and he attacked your dad". He said clutching his teeth.

" my blood boils thinking about him, I feel angry on my self that I'm unable to kill that bastard even after all these years". Arjun eyes where turning red due to anger. I got tensed, I don't want arjun to remember about that person now. So I held his face with both of my hands and made me look into my eyes. I really don't know what am I doing but it was working. He closed his eyes and took deep breaths , when he opened his eyes all red was gone. I could see those magical green eyes again.

" let's go to sleep ". This time it was me. His body relaxed as I lay down on his chest. He encircled his arms around me. I sliped into deep slumber.

I was woken up by sunrays falling on my face. I turned to opposite side but opened my eyes when I didn't felt arjun on the bed. I got up and checked washroom he wasn't there either.

It's really strange, he would never leave me alone on bed if it wasnt for shower. I decided to check downstairs. I was really surprised when I found him in the kitchen making breakfast.

"you know ,how to cook? ". I questioned him walking into the kitchen, amusement was filled in my voice . Arjun diverted his attention from cooking to me.

" angel, you woke up already, I thought I would make breakfast for you today ". He said encircling his arms around my waist, as I stood beside him.

" it's okay, you don't have to do it ,,I'll cook now ". I said but He suddenly lifted me up by my waist and made me sit on kitchen counter.

"mrs arjun Oberoi, your just gonna sit here and watch me making breakfast ". He said and went back to cooking.
I was watching him chopping vegetables, making juice out of fruits, and omlet..wait a minute how did he got all these ..

"arjun where did these things come from, ?". I asked him pointing all the veggies, eggs, fruits on the counter .

"oh these, I asked my men to bring some cloths and groceries for breakfast along with the house keys last night, since I know we will be needing them ". He said and continued his work. I nodded then I suddenly realized.

"you also brought cloths for us? ". I questioned him, and he nodded.

" then didn't you gave me them last night? ". This question made him stop his work.

He looked directly at me and said " I would be the dumbest person if I did that. After all who wants to miss a great sight like this? ". He said pointing at my thighs.
Then I realized I was still wearing only T-shirt. My eyes widen. I jumped down the counter and made run to my room.
A huge laughter erupted behind me.
Of course arjun was laughing at my state.

"the cloths are in your cupboard angel, get ready I'll bring breakfast to your room ". Arjun yelled from downstairs. But I was so flushed to reply him. God I was infront of him the whole time with only T-shirt on me. My cheeks are red as tomato due to blushing . I'm starting to feel new kind of emotions which I have never felt before.
