lvl 4: trust

I find Sana, Chan, Seungmin, and Jeongin in a car together. I see a petrified Sana in the arms of Chan and run over to her and hug her. I nod at Chan who lets go of Sana and exits the railcar.

"Are you guys, okay?" I look over at Seungmin and Jeongin who also look a little shocked.

"We could've died," Seungmin says.

"Yeah, but we made it because of them," I say. "You guys did it too though. You helped all of us survive." I hold Sana close who sniffles a little.

"I'm sorry," Sana says quietly.

"Why?" I say and rest my head on her's.

"I'm your older sister. I should be protecting you. I should be the brave one."

"We're sisters. We're supposed to be protecting each other," Sana nods and gets up slowly.

"Don't worry about me, I'm fine," Sana says and smiles. I sigh and give her a small smile as she exits the car.

"Where do you think we're going?" Jeongin asks me. I shrug and then look outside the window at the blur of trees.

"It's starting to get dark now," Seungmin states.

My eyes start to get heavy and dry. I rest my head on my knees and drift to sleep.

I slowly open my dry eyes and squint at the person in front of me. I notice it's Felix and sigh as I stretch carefully while trying not to wake him. I slowly get up from my spot and exit the railcar quietly. I look out the window to see pitch black and try to look around the darkroom. I sneak past the railcars until I enter an empty one and open its door. I realize I am at the end of the train and walk out onto the caboose of the train. I stand out and lean my back on the rail as I feel the breeze whip my hair back. I stare up at the blurred stars in the sky and breathe deeply.

The door of the car opens again and I look to see Hyunjin. He scratches his eyes as he closes the door behind him and stands next to me.

"Can't sleep either?" Hyunjin asks me.

"I just woke up from a nap," I say and continue to stare at the sky. I look down at Hyunjin's leg which is wrapped with medical tape and bandages. I could only feel pain and guilt. "I'm sorry for stabbing you." I pout and look at Hyunjin who shrugs.

"You were trying to protect yourself."

"Yeah, but I injured you."

"You saved me."

"You saved me first. I owed you one."

"Yeah, plus if you didn't wound me in the leg, then you wouldn't have had to save me at all," Hyunjin smirks and looks over at me while I blush.

"Whatever," I scoff and look back at the sky. "How did you get with this group?"

"Woojin rescued Jisung, Changbin, and me from being devoured by those things," Hyunjin explains to me. "We decided to go to the supermarket and stay there but we met Felix and Minho who were already there," I nod. "What about you?"

"Me?"

"How did you meet your group?"

"We are all friends before all of this. Seungmin, Chan, and Jeongin came over that day to mine and Sana's apartment. We were all together when this happened."
