Hana's POV
darkness.
I feel my heart pump like crazy as I try to look around the room. All I see is dark. I feel my hands and feet tied. I'm sitting in a chair. This feels all too familiar. I hear struggling next to me and trying to calm myself down. I try to speak but there is a gag in my mouth.
The only thing I could do is hear. My hearing sense is heightened as I try to figure out where I am.
"Hana," I hear and then feel shivers down my spine. "Hana," It's Hyunjin's voice. Is he here with me?
"Hyunjin?" I say softly but a different voice answers back.
"It's Sungjin," The voice replies. Sungjin? I tilt my head in confusion even though he can't see me.
"How are you here?" I ask. "Where are we?"
"I was with the Seungmin and everyone else. I was outside chopping wood and then everything went black," My heart flutters when I hear of Seungmin.
"Is Seungmin okay?" I ask, immediately checking up on my best friend.
"He's a tough one. He's really stubborn but in a good way. He wanted to find you and everyone else and couldn't sit still until we did," Sungjin says. I smile a little at how strong he has become.
"How about Jeongin?"
"Still a baby," Sungjin says and I giggle a little.
"Where are we?" I say. "I know this scent. It's too familiar."
"Good, you didn't forget about me," I hear a voice and turn my head towards it.
"Was that you?" I ask Sungjin.
"Huh, I didn't say anything," Sungjin replies. I look towards the direction the voice came from and try to focus my hearing.
"What are we going to do with Sungjin, boss?" I hear. "I don't think he is needed. We only needed Hana."
"Wait, he might be useful," I hear another voice and start to clench my hands into a fist. This voice is not one I wanted to hear. "Take out Hana. I need to have a private conversation with her," I breathe heavily in anger and try to contain myself.
Once I hear the door open, I break free from the ropes and immediately take off my blindfold. I am not able to process what I am doing but I attack the man who walks into the room. I snapped his neck before he could touch me or Sungjin. My hands feel numb once I let go of the dead body and I feel my head get hot.
I look around and notice we are back inside the Sanctuary. We are in one of the lab rooms. I look through the window and see JYP's shocked face and his colleagues' terrified reactions. Behind me is still a blindfolded Sungjin, tied up to the same chair I broke free from.
"How did she break free?" I hear and look back at the window and meet eyes with JYP. There is an evil look in my eye that doesn't phase JYP.
"I knew she was something special," I heard JYP as I read his lips. I watch JYP turn the microphone of the intercom on before he starts to speak. "Hana, remember me? Of course, you do. Now if you try to free your friend in the chair or try to attack one of my men again, I will kill either you or your friend first."
"What do you want from us?" I ask with a stern voice.
"It's not what I want, it's who," JYP says. "Hana, I knew right when I met you with your group that you were different. I don't know if it was your attitude or your courage, but what's in your blood is precious," I glare at him as he admires my immunity.
"You think my blood is the cure to the apocalypse?" I question and tilt my head. JYP nods.
"You're smart, Hana," JYP says.
"So what are you going to do with me?" I ask.
"We need to run experiments. You don't even have to be in the experiments. We just need your blood," JYP explains. I look at my arms and where they would extract the blood from. I think for a while and a question forms in my mind.
Before I could ask the question, a pounding pain in my head makes me want to scream. I fall to the ground and grasp my head with my hands.
"Hana?" I hear JYP say faintly.

Seungmin's POV
"There's the secret way into the hospital. We can get in through there," I say to Chaeyoung as we scope out the area behind some bushes. I look at Chaeyoung and notice how pale her face is. I hold her hand to comfort her and she looks down at it and then to me.
"I'm not going to let anything happen to you," I smile softly and she nods, showing her trust in me.
I led her to the side of the building and cut the wired fence so we went through it. We make it to the outside walls of the hospital. We find the door I was speaking of and Chaeyoung picks the lock so we can enter.
"Are you ready?" I ask her and she nods silently.
We both walk through the door and into the darkness of the hallway. The atmosphere is so familiar and recalls bad memories. We slowly walk through together as we hear eerie noises. I point to the door that leads to upstairs and we head towards it.
Changbin's POV
"Is that Seungmin?" I point once we arrive at the hospital. I notice two figures sneaking inside the building already and am shocked.
"Seungmin?" Sana repeats as a question and looks my direction to see the two people entering through the cut in the fence. Sana's jaw drops. "They're sneaking in! We have to follow them," I look behind us and see Hyunjin hanging onto Young K as they walk towards us.
"Are you okay?" I ask as I feel a pit of sorrow in my stomach.
"Yeah," He says out of breath. "I can make it inside."
"I don't think that's a good idea," Yeji interrupts. "You're not in the best condition."
"Maybe some of us should stay back with Hyunjin," Jisung says.
"I will," Wonpil says.
After settling the situation with Hyunjin, we follow the same way Seungmin took to sneak into the hospital. Once we make it upstairs, our hearts start racing and my mind goes blank from the fear and trauma. We hear screams from a room not very close and decide to split up to find it.
Hana's POV
As I kept screaming in pain, a sharp knife felt like it was piercing through my stomach as I curled up into a ball on the ground.
"Why is she screaming?" I hear the door open and people start crowding around me. "Boss, I don't think it's safe to take her blood."
"Do you want your children to grow up in a world like this?" I hear JYP.
"No sir."
"Put her in chains if you have to extract blood from her. I bet she is just performing a stunt to distract us," JYP says.
Before they try to grab me and tame me with chains wrapped around my arms and legs, gunshots are fired which stops me from screaming.
