you can't sleep at night. you can't sleep regularly when something is always on your mind.
and its worse because you live in a zombie apocalypse which may seem scary but
you've fallen in love with nine idiots who plan to stay by your side as long as...
"What?" I ask and turn to look at Hyunjin. "Seungmin and I aren't..," I start to shake my head and realize Hyunjin's jealousy. "You think we're dating?" Hyunjin stays silent and looks in the other direction. I start laughing out of amusement. "Are you jealous?" I say and poke Hyunjin but he steps back. "Hyunjin, really, I'm not dating Seungmin. We're just really close."
Hyunjin starts walking again without saying a word which makes me want to laugh. I follow behind the quick-paced Hyunjin until we hear gunshots from the distance. We both stop in our tracks and meet our eyes with shocked faces. We start running towards the gunshot and come across a herd chasing Woojin and Chan's group. I see Sana running towards me and hug her.
"Are you okay?" I ask her, she nods and then looks back at the crowd of walkers chasing them. I look at Hyunjin. "Go help them, I'll take her to the train and tell them to get it running." Hyunjin nods and takes out his knife and starts taking out walkers.
We make it to the train as fast as we could. Changbin, Ryujin, and Yeji are all on the train when we jump onto it. Changbin looks at me worriedly and I run over to the locomotive.
"Did you hear the gunshot too?" Changbin asks.
"It's the group," I say. "We have to get the train going. About forty zombies are chasing them right now."
I start the controls and push buttons and levers to get the train to run. Finally, the engine turns on and I run out of the car and outside. I see Chan and Minho running towards the train first. Minho immediately runs to the locomotive. I run over to help fight off the rest of the dead ones. Changbin takes out his bow and arrow and starts shooting while Ryujin shoots the monsters with a pistol. Everyone else makes it back on except for me and Seungmin. We start sprinting towards the train that gradually starts moving.
"Hana!" Changbin screams my name.
Seungmin jumps onto the train and I follow behind. Changbin reaches his hand out to pull me up and I successfully make it onto the train. I fall on top of Changbin when he pulls me up onto the train. I meet his eyes and take deep breaths after running for my life but then realize our position. I notice Changbin blushing and immediately feel my face turn red. I clear my throat and get off Changbin's chest and lie down on the floor of the car as I stare at the ceiling. I hear the door close and notice Hyunjin has left the car. I sigh and get up to look over at Changbin who is still on the floor. I lend my hand for him to take and help him up.
"Thank you," I say. I hug him tightly. I feel Changbin soften and hug me back. I let go of the hug and walk over to Seungmin who is still out of breath. "How are you feeling?"
"I almost died," Seungmin says, still in shock.
"You'll recover." I smile and then look out the door that Hyunjin exited through.
I see Yeji leave the car too and could only help but wonder why Hyunjin is so sensitive towards me. I leave Seungmin and enter the locomotive where Woojin, Chan, and Minho are in.
"Are you okay, Hana?" Chan asks me. I nod and then look out the windshield of the train.
"Where are we headed now?" I ask.
"There is supposed to be a safe zone just a few hours away from here," Woojin tells me. I walk over to Chan and talk to him.
"Is Sana okay?" I ask him.
"Yeah, she killed one of them today," Chan informs me.
"Really?" I say in an excited tone.
"Yeah," Chan smiles. I smirk at the thought of Sana killing one of the zombies.
"I'm gonna go take a nap," I say and walk out of the car and to the other.

I walk past the car filled with everyone else and enter the empty one beside it and lay down on the floor. I sigh as I stare up at the ceiling with only the engine and the friction of the train gliding against the tracks to fill up the silence. I hear the door of the car open again and see Felix. He looks over at me and sits across from me and rests his head against the wall. I sit up and look at him while he closes his eyes. I quietly retrieve my bag and take out the pink polaroid inside it. I smile at Felix's posture and look through the polaroid to get the right angle. Felix opens his eyes again to see me about to take a picture of him causing me to immediately hide the camera and blush as I try to look the other way. I hear Felix's chuckles and look back at him to see him smiling.
"You're so creepy," Felix says making me pout.
"Sorry," I say out of embarrassment and start playing with the polaroid in my hand. "That was really weird," I say and shake my head.
"No, take a picture of me," Felix smiles. I look up shyly as my cheeks turn red. "I'll even copy what I was during before."
Felix closes his eyes again and leans his head back on the wall which makes me laugh. Felix starts laughing too which I realize is such a beautiful smile. I quickly snap a picture and smile as the film comes out of the polaroid.
"Hey! I wasn't ready," Felix whines.
"You looked good in that one," I laugh and wait for the picture to process. Once it is done forming, I smile at the picture and hand it over to Felix. He reaches across the car and takes the photo from me and observes it.

"Woah," Felix says as he stares at the picture I took. He hands it back to me but I shake my head.
"Keep it," I say.
Felix stands up and places it in my hand. He kneels down at me, only a few inches away from my face.
"You keep it," He says in his deep, manly voice and leaves the car.
