I watch all the citizens in the lobby with flashlights and lanterns and comforting each other. I look over at Hyunjin who has disappeared from his spot the last time I saw him. I feel a sudden ache in my chest. I sigh and see Dahyun in the crowd. Changbin follows behind me.
"We have to get upstairs," I tell her and she nods.
"The back entrance to the second floor is not in the lobby," Dahyun tells me and then Momo shows up behind her.
"It's clear," Momo says. We all nod at her and head to the secret entrance.
We walk down the hallway and I see a familiar tall figure. I point my flashlight to the figure and it's Hyunjin waiting at the door. I feel a lift in my spirit once I see him. Dahyun leads us to a door with a ladder and we all climb up. I shined my flashlight at the hatch so Dahyun could open it.
It's quiet on the second floor which is haunting. We all hide in an empty hallway and peek through the corners. We hear mumbles and groans from the zombies locked in the storage room.
"Do you think they're already trying to fix the generator?" Changbin whispers. We shrug.
"Just to be safe," Dahyun whispers but is interrupted by a voice.
"Sir, the power went out," We hear a sweet and soft voice. I smile, it's Sana.
"Oh Sana," I hear another voice. It's JYP's, I feel my fists clench as I bite my lip. "You shouldn't be up here."
"I know sir but everyone is freaking out downstairs, including me. What if the monsters get in?" Sana says in a cute and innocent voice. We hear JYP sigh.
"Right, let's go downstairs," JYP gives into the bait. "Postpone all runs," We hear JYP say to someone on a walkie. The door to the staircase opens and closes shut, signalling that JYP has left the floor.
"There could still be scientists and other people on the floor," Hyunjin whispers. We all stand up and walk down the hallways slowly.
A bunch of doors open and close. We all freeze and look around. Something bangs against a window nearby. I feel shivers down my spine. Momo takes the lead.
"C'mon, we have to hurry," She says and continues with Dahyun following behind. I sigh and take a deep breath.
"You okay?" Hyunjin asks me and I look into his sweet eyes as he stares at me worriedly.
I gulp down my fear and nod. Hyunjin sighs and then holds my hand. He drags me down the hall to catch up to the rest of the group.
"Put away the monsters back into their cages manually," We hear a voice speak. Hiding in the other hall, we wait.
"Yes, sir," A deep, dark voice speaks.
The familiarity of the voice makes me relieved. I squeeze Hyunjin's hand as I smile a little. He looks back at me and smiles at my relief. Footsteps signal that the person left.
"They make Felix do the dirty work," Changbin whispers and sees us holding hands.
He turns away quickly. I sigh and then hear a scream of help from nearby. We all rush and see Felix inside one of the rooms, dealing with a zombie. Dahyun quickly opens the door and shivs the zombie in the head. A shocked Felix looks up.
"Hey buddy," Hyunjin greets. Felix jumps up and hugs all of us.
"What are you guys doing here?" Felix asks.
"We came to get you," I say and notice the cuts and bruises on his face and arms. I frown at how hurt he is. I touch his face gently to get a closer look. "What did they do to you?" I look at his arms and see more bruises.
"It's not important. You guys aren't safe here," Felix says in a serious tone. "Shit," He looks down at the dead zombie.
"What?" Momo asks.
"I'm not supposed to kill the zombies. They're going to punish me for this," Felix runs his fingers through his hair.
"I killed it," Dahyun says. "And they can't punish you cause we're getting you out of here."
"How?" Felix asks. The powers turn back on and we all look at each other with surprised faces.
"Is the power supposed to be on yet?" Changbin asks and then we all shake our head.
"We have to go now," I say and then we all head towards the door instead of Felix.
"Felix!" Hyunjin calls him but Felix looks at the ground.
"When the power's back on, the door auto lock," Felix says and shakes his head. We all try to open the door but it won't budge.
"Do you have the key?" Momo asks.
"The doors were unlocked when the power went out, there was no need for a key," Felix says.
"What are we going to do?" I ask and walk around in fear and start hyperventilating.
Hyunjin watches me walk around the room anxiously. He stands in front of me and puts his hands on my shoulders. I look up at him and he stares at me with his caring eyes.
"Hana, breathe," Hyunjin tells me. "Y-you're so pale," He caresses my face. The rest of the group looks at me with concerned faces.
"Hana, you're not sick, right?" Felix asks me. Hyunjin sits me down on the floor and continues to examine my face.
"I don't think so, why?" I ask him. Felix sighs.

Sana's POV
"Minho, why is the power on?" I ask him in an alerted voice. We are all downstairs in the lobby. Minho gets up quickly and looks toward the exit.
"I don't know, they fixed it faster than I expected," Minho says.
"They aren't back yet," I say.
"I'll figure something out," Minho says and leaves me. I see Chan with Woojin and run over to them.
"Guys, I think they need more time," I tell them.
"We'll distract them," Woojin says.
"I'm going upstairs to check up on them," Chan tells me which makes me nervous.
"Chan, you've never been on the second floor. It's dangerous," I argue.
"I can't just sit back here and do nothing," Chan says.
"Then I'm coming with you," I say but then Chan looks at me with disapproval. "Hana's my sister and they're my friends too," Chan sighs.
"Fine."
