She was fixated on the rolling hills and mountainside outside the window. Lush trees covered the landscape but were barely noticeable because of the gloomy sky. The sound of rain ferociously hitting the window calmed down the stressed teenager. She sighed with content at the book placed on her lap, as she was about to indulge into one of her favorite muggle books of all time, "One Hundred Years of Solitude".

Her trousers caught her eye as she spotted a piece of lint on her mid-thigh. With a swift flick of her hand she did away with it. As she started to open her book with satisfaction, she noticed a stain on her white blouse. She let out a displeased "humph" as she pulled on it to examine it better. It appeared to have been from the the chocolate frog she ate just a few minutes back.

On the other side of the train sat a certain Slytherin who was burdened with a terrible task he was dreading to fulfill. Of course he did the best he could to put on a tough guy facade in front of his fellow housemates, but he was destroyed on the inside. He spoke of how terrible of a school Hogwarts was, but he couldn't be more relieved to be leaving his death eater filled manor.

Draco Malfoy spent the summer secluded from the world, locked up in his room, dreading his initiation into the dark works of his family. He had months with nothing to do except for think of his early years at Hogwarts that he wasted being an arrogant bully except for making real friends and having fun. He regretted all of it and wished that he could just go back in time to when life wasn't so dark.

Lorelai was nearly halfway into her book when the doors opened causing her to look up from her book. She couldn't help but smile when she saw the red head peeping into her compartment.

"Oh Lore thank merlin it's you, I've been looking everywhere for you!" Ginny said while she sat across from her dear friend.

" It's great to see you too Ginny, you look troubled what's wrong?"

Ginny was in fact frustrated. She had just been in a compartment with her boyfriend Dean Thomas and her two friends Luna and Neville when Seamus Finnigan decided to come in and steal her boyfriend away, again.

"You know, when I agreed to be Dean's girlfriend I didn't know that it would be a bloody packaged deal with Seamus involved." She lets out a frustrated huff.

Lorelai lets out a short laugh.

"Think my agony is funny, do you?"

"No, no, not at all. Go on Ginny." Lorelai tried her hardest to supress her laughter.

"Like right now for example, I was with Dean, Luna and Nev in a compartment and all a sudden Seamus himself comes bursting in grabbing MY boyfriend by the arm and dragging him along to get cauldron cakes and licorice wands from the bloody trolley. And the worst part is that he left without even acknowledging me!"
