————Up until her fourth year, Lorelai Byrne was the shortest girl in her year so it was no surprise that she struggled to carry her trunk onto the train with her. Her brother had abandoned her to be with his friends and she was left all alone to fend for herself. All of the compartments were filled to the brim and there was nobody to help her carry her trunk until she found an empty compartment. At least the train didn't start moving yet. Oh wait. It just did. The sudden movement of the Hogwarts Express made her fall face down on the floor, her trunk falling directly on top of her small frame.
"Bloody hell, you're a mess!" A voice says. Being crushed by the weight of the trunk she couldn't look up, all she could see were shiny black shoes in front of her. Then all she felt was the weight of the trunk being removed from her back. Eager to find who her savior was, she jumps up, ignoring the pain shooting daggers in her ankle and looked up to find the blondest boy she had ever seen in her life. Head to toe in an all black suit.
"Um, thank you." She says, embarrassed that someone witnessed her falling and nearly being crushed to death by her trunk. "I'm Lorelai by the way. Lorelai Byrne." She extends her hand for him to shake but he doesn't budge.
"I just saved your life." The boy said.
"I wouldn't push it that far." She answers.
"You owe me."
"Do I know?" She rolls her eyes at the blue eyed boy in front of her. "You can't just help someone from the goodness of your heart?"
"Nope." He says popping the P. "See you around, bungersome."
"Bunger what?" She questions, tilting her head.
"It means clumsy. You're obviously not going to be in Ravenclaw."
"And you're not going to be a Hufflepuff." She snaps back.
"Of course not! I'm going to be in Slytherin." He says proudly puffing out his chest.
"Oh, you're one of those." She mumbled to herself. "Can you at least tell me your name?"
"I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy."

————Lorelai rushed through the halls, books in hand. The only topic of conversation in Hogwarts at the moment was how Harry was the heir of Slytherin and that he opened the Chamber of Secrets just because he could speak Parseltongue. Hearing this for the first time made Lorelai think. He was the chosen one, You-Know-Who wasn't able to kill him, maybe he was the heir of Slytherin. But after much better thought, she dismissed the idea. It's impossible. If he were the heir of Slytherin he would be in Slytherin, right?
Her chain of thoughts were broken when she bumps into someone. Not just anyone. She bumps into Draco Malfoy. Ever since their confrontation on the train ride to Hogwarts they never spoke again. He would taunt her friends, but he never payed much attention to her. Even thought she wasn't a target of his many insults, her friends were, and she didn't like him not one bit.
"Oh, it's you." She droned.
"You really are a bungersome."
