"Come on! We're going to be late!" Lorelai shouts up the stairs.
Having two head strong twins wasn't at all easy. It was rather difficult, but she loved them more than words could describe. Her and Draco. Today was September 1st, the day they would be going to Hogwarts for the first time ever. Draco had been filling their ears with how amazing and magical Hogwarts was and the kids couldn't be more excited. For someone who constantly ranted about his hate for the wizarding school, he sure had plenty of positive things to say.
Just a few days ago they had gotten their wands from Olivander's. Cassie, being the bright little which she was, was already getting herself into mischief by going through her parents spell books and casting spells when they weren't in the same room. She'd even sneak out of her room at times in the middle if the night just to do some spell casting. Scorpius didn't care as much about the spells, he was more into Quidditch. Like father like son. Him and Draco would spend the afternoons outside riding Draco's old broomstick, and he has gotten quite good.
"We're here." They both say as they reach the bottom of the stairs where Lorelai is standing. Scorpius holding his owl's cage and Cassie smothering her cat, as per usual.
"Cassie, sweetheart, if you keep on smothering Willow like that, she's going to end up hating you." Lorelai insisted. Which was true, cats are highly independent animals, they don't like being smothered all the time. "Where are your suitcases?"
"Dad is levitating them down. He even taught us the spell." Scorpius chanted. "Want to see?"
"You can't use magic out of Hogwarts until you are seventeen, Scorp." His mother answers, but he pays no attention.
"Wingardium Leviosa." He casts, levitating Willow into the air.
"Scorpius! No!" Cassie screams.
"Scorp, stop levitating your sister's cat!" She sighs. When he didn't stop, she raised her voice. "Did you not just hear what I said about using magic outside of Hogwarts? Do you want to get expelled before even going to the school?"
He shakes his head, letting Willow drop six feet to the floor. "My cat! You brainless oaf!" Cassie complains. "Oh you poor thing." She whispers as she picks her up from the floor and begins to smother her again.
"What's going on down here?" Draco asks. The suit cases following behind him.
"Your son got a bit too excited about being taught the levitation spell and used it on his sister's cat." Lorelai divulged.
"Scorp, mate, what did I say about magic outside of Hogwarts? Do you want to get expelled before even attending the school?"
"That's what I said."
"Yeah, but you were meaner." Scorpius complains.
"But it worked, didn't it?" Draco asks him to which he just nods his head. "Good. Now let's get going, shall we?"
Draco scoops up his daughter into his arms and Lorelai grabs onto her son's hand and they disapparate to an isolated corridor at King's Cross Station so no muggles would see them magically appear out of the thin air. They made their way straight to the brick wall between platforms nine and ten.
"So we just run into the wall?" Scorpius asks.
"You run through the wall." Draco corrects.
"But won't the muggles see?" Cassie asks.
"The muggles are completely oblivious." Lorelai answers. "So, let's go, it's almost time."
Draco grabs onto his daughters hand with one hand and pushes the trolley with his other hand. "3,2,1." He counts down and they run through the wall.
