These news articles were all over the front page of the Daily Prophet. The radios, all throughout the day, listed the names of witches and wizards who were disappearing. People were scared, people were losing hope, people were going into hiding. The Death Eaters had oficially taken over the Wizarding World and Snape was now headmaster of Hogwarts. Muggle-borns were prohibited from returning to school and many half and pure blooded families, other than Slytherins, prohibited their children from going back. They feared what the Death Eaters would do. The types of punishments they would give their sons and daughters.
Lorelai let out a frustrated sigh before throwing the newspaper across the room. That's it, she thought, the Wizarding World was done for. It was in times like these where she wishes she was a muggle. Yeah, sure, muggles have problems that wizards don't have, but they don't have a Dark Lord who has no nose and goes by the name of Voldemort. What even crossed his mind to name his followers Death Eaters. She worried about her brother, he had just became an auror and he was putting himself out there every day fighting against countless Death Eaters.
Lorelai wouldn't be going back to Hogwarts this year, and she hasn't even told her father or brother yet. She wasn't going to tell them because never in a million years they'd let her go hunting Horcruxes. They only let her travel by Floo to the Weasley's occasionally. Today she would be meeting the Order at the Burrow, they were going to get Harry, he couldn't travel because he is still under age, he's the only one under age. She quickly stuck a bunch of clothes and personal items into her purse which had an undetectable extension charm. Her brother and father thought that she would be spending the week there before the wedding, but in reality, she wasn't planning on coming back.
"Lorelai!" She was greeted excitedly and pulled into a big hug the second she set foot in the burrow. The twins had enveloped her into a dangerously tight hug.
"Guys, I miss you too, but I can't breath." She manages to squeak out, still wrapped in their arms.
"Sorry, love." They simultaneously say while letting her go.
"Did someone say Lorelai?" Ginny asks popping out from behind her brothers, "Lore!" she said wrapping her into another hug, this one not as tight. "Come on, Mione is outside with Ron."
The two girls went outside where they saw the pair chatting away on a bench. "Oh just snog already, will you?" Lorelai calls out making both of their heads snap in her direction. She ran up to them enveloping them into a tight hug. "Oh how I've missed you guys."
