Today was a very hot day. It was nearly unbearable for the students of Hogwarts to not sweat in their uniforms. In hot days like these instead of cramming up in the library, Lorelai makes her way down to the black lake where she curls up in the shade under a tree and catches up on her studies. This warm morning was different for Lorelai, she wasn't studying, she was reading a book from the library about career choices. She was stuck between being an auror and being a healer.
Suddenly a voice broke her out of her trance. "Hey"

Instead of waking up at 9:00 like she had thought she would, she ended up waking up when the sun hit her face, at 6:30. Unlike most days, she took her time today as she was exhausted from getting only four hours of sleep that night. The rest of her for mates were already awake except for Hermione who had shut her curtain and most likely put a silencing spell not to be awaken by the rest of the room.
"Lorelai, you're up. Didn't you have astronomy last night? You must be exhausted." Parvati says.
"Exhausted is an understatement but once I wake up I can't go back to sleep."
"We didn't wake you, did we?" Fay asks. Her and Fay were actually good friends. They became friends in their third year when they both joined the quidditch team. Fay was a beater and Lorelai was a chaser.
"No no, the sunlight woke me up. Me being the idiot that I am forgot to draw the bloody curtains shut."
"Oh ok, see you at quidditch tryouts Friday afternoon." Fay says before leaving. What? Harry never mentioned to her that quidditch tryouts were in a couple of days. She was extremely out of shape, she had to practice and she was extremely mad at Harry. She quickly got dressed and hurried down to the great hall where Harry most likely already was as of the rest of the Hogwarts students who didn't have astronomy at midnight.
Draco Malfoy was there as well which struck Lorelai as weird. He should be sleeping why's he here. Now that she is paying close attention, he looks like he hasn't slept in ages. But she quickly forgets about Draco when she sees Ginny waving to her from the table. She is next Harry, her target. Not wanting to make a scene she walks closer before calling out his name.
"Harry James bloody Potter, you're dead." she says in a raised voice. Just loud enough to catch the attention of a few students but not the teachers.
"Oh boy." Ron murmurs.
"When were you planning on telling me about the quidditch tryouts?"
"I told Ron to tell you and Ginny." Harry says defensively.
"Well he clearly didn't tell me." Lorelai says and looks at Ginny.
"He didn't tell me either but I overheard them talking so I already knew."
