Lorelai sat back and let her emotions soak right into her bones. Her cheeks were damp with the ghost of tears. At this point, she couldn't tell if they were tears of joy or sorrow. She didn't quite know what emotions she was feeling. Relief? Anger? Sadness? Happiness? Perhaps she was feeling all of them, a hurricane of emotions taking place in her heart.

"May I sit here?" A hoarse voice says. She looks up, not being able to control the happy look that was now evident for her.

"Dad!" She jumps up and hugs him in relief. Jacob standing by his side. She hadn't been with him since he first arrived at the Room or Requirement hours before. "We won." Her voice is barely louder than a broken whisper and her words get lost in the distant chatter of the others in the Great Hall.

"I know, sweetheart." He pushes her away and examines her. "Are you hurt?" He eyes the torned and bloody shirt.

"I was, madam Pomfrey already healed me, it wasn't too bad."

"We should get going home. I think we can all agree that we've had a long night." Edward suggests.

"Um, well, dad, I think someone wants to talk to us first." Lorelai responds glancing over at the two newest members of the Order who were making their way towards them.

His face was torn between relief and weariness. There was dark dust stained against his his porcelain skin, a sublte wave of flush on his cheeks. His black, elegant suit was ripped in several pieces and a few small bruises tainted his face here and there. Nothing that Fred and George's bruise removal paste couldn't heal. He looked older, as if the weight of years that were stolen from him fell on his shoulders. But he was still beautiful. He was still her Draco.

"Edward." Narcissa greets when she reaches them.

"Narcissa." He nods his head back at her.

"For the sake of out children, I think we should talk." She suggests.

Edward doesn't say anything, he just nods and places his hand on her arm moving her to a secluded part of the Great Hall where they can speak without anyone listening in on their conversation. It was awkward between the three teenagers. Jacob couldn't stop glaring at the blond boy standing next to his sister. He never felt the need to protect her when it came to boys, he knew that she was more than capable of protecting herself. But it was different with Draco, Jacob couldn't trust him no matter how hard he tried.

"So you're the guy who has been shagging my little sister." Jacob finally says.

"Dude! Out of all the things you could say!"

"I love your sister." Draco admitted.

"You never answered the question."

"Stop being so god damn nosy, Jacob." Lorelai rolled her eyes.
