Lorelai slowly opened her eyes, no lights except for a few candles were on in the Hospital wing. This meant that it was already past curfew. She attempted to sit up and she was successful. The pain in her stomach had disappeared, but she was a sweaty mess. Gross.

"And what exactly do you think you are doing young lady? You lay back down this instant!" Madam Pomfrey insists as she rushes towards the ill girl.

"What time is it?" She asks.

"Nearly 11pm. You will be staying here the night, understood?"

"Yes ma'am." Lorelai answers. "What happened to me?"

"You had, what muggles call, a stomach ulcer. Here drink this." Madam Pomfrey says.

Lorelai drinks all of the liquid in the vial and hands it back to Madam Pomfrey. "It's gone now?"

"Yes."

"Have my friends stopped by?" Lorelai asked.

"Yes dear, I sent them back to their houses just before curfew. I let Mr. Malfoy stay. After all, he is the one who carried you in here, and he refused to leave no matter what I said."

"Ok, goodnight, and thank you" Lorelai said. Madam Pomfrey left to her chambers.

Draco had carried her here? Out of all people, Draco is the one who carried her fat ass to the hospital wing. Out of all people Daphne could have called for help, she called Draco. It looks like no matter what happens in her life, Draco is somehow nearly always involved in it. She looked around the hospital wing, but couldn't see any sign of Draco. Until she looked beside her.

In the dark Lorelai only managed to see his white hair laying on her bed. He was seated on the chair besides her, and he must have fallen asleep while waiting. She hesitatingly put her hand on his head and started playing with his soft white hair. He moved in his sleep and Lorelai withdrew her hand, not wanting to wake him up. Too late.

"Don't stop, it feels good." He mumbles. When she didn't put her hand back he lifted his head and stared at her. "How are you feeling?"

"Much better, thank you. And sorry for waking you up." She says, genuinely sorry.

"I'm glad you did." He starts. "You have no clue how worried I was." He whispers.

"What I have no clue about is how in Merlin's name you managed to carry my fat ass to the Hospital Wing." She says letting out a quiet laugh.
