"Draco"
"Lorelai, what are you doing here?"
"I - um - wanted to thank you. You know, for saving my life."
"It was nothing." he mutters as he turns his focus back to the cabinet in front of him.
"So tell me, what could you possibly want with a Vanishing Cabinet?"
"What?"
"You heard me."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Cut the shit, Draco. I know this is a Vanishing Cabinet, and I know there is one at Borgin and Burke's as well." Lorelai snapped. Draco was taken back, his beautiful blue grey eyes were nearly bulging out of his head.
He didn't say anything for a few minutes, he just stared at the ground. "How do you know?" He whispered.
"That's none of your concern."
"You know I can't tell you."
"You might not be able to tell me, but I have a theory." She started, "from what I know, a pair of Vanishing Cabinets act as a passage between two places. If an object was placed in one, it will appear in the other."
"So wha —"
"I'm not finished." She says as she holds her hand up to silence him. "Now, correct me if I am wrong, but according to your little conversation with Snape after you were caught by Filch, you were chosen for a mission of some sorts."
"You heard that?" He asks.
"You really seem to underestimate me Draco Malfoy. Anyways, I think that you have to let Death Eater's into the school. They would enter the Vanishing Cabinet at Borgin and Burke's allowing them to enter the school through this Vanishing Cabinet."
Draco remained silent. He thought of obliviating her, but he couldn't do that. She managed to figure out part of his task, something that nobody else was able to do, not even the chosen one. He feared for her life.
"But I don't think that's all you have to do" she adds.
Well shit, Draco thought.
"Katie Bell was cursed when she touched something that was supposed to go straight to Dumbledore." she starts. "According to Leanne, she returned from the loo with the package."
"Lorelai" he tried to silence her.
"No, let me finish." He just lowers his head as she finished talking. "You should know by now that I am a very observant person. I saw Katie go to the loo when you were still up there."
She was getting closed and closer to figuring out the truth. "Lorelai, please."
"She didn't remember what happened or who had given her the package, she was under the Imperius Curse."
