Lorelai herself never thought she would ever fall in love with anyone until one day she was paired up with a certain blond haired Slytherin.

Christmas was quickly approaching and Lorelai still hadn't bought any gifts for anybody. This mostly has to do with her father fearing something terrible will happen to her if she goes to Diagon Alley. He suggested she go and buy her gifts in muggle stores where there aren't any risks of Death Eater attacks, but Lorelai is as stubborn as her mother was.
"Don't worry, dad. I'll go with her, I'm an Auror now." Jacob says.
"Barely" Lorelai scoffs.
"Shut up."
"Don't tell me what to do!"
"I was born first so therefore I can"
"Enough you two." Edward says. "Jacob I am going to trust you to protect yourself and Lorelai"
"Oh please, if push comes to shove we both know I'll be the one to protect him. We all know that I am the stronger of the two." Lorelai scoffs.
"That's quite enough Lorelai. Go and get ready. You can dissaprate to the safe part of Diagon Alley." Edward says. Lorelai runs up to her room to grab her coat and bag.
"You know I joke around in front of her, but I would never let anything happen to her. I'd die before she could het hurt." Jacob says in a whisper once Lorelai leaves the room.
"I know, but don't get yourself killed. I can't lose any of you. Understood?"
"Don't worry, dad"
"Let's go!" Lorelai says cheerfully. "See you later dad." Jacob waved before he grabbed her arm and dissaparated to Diagon Alley.
They ended up right in front of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. Lorelai's first stop was Quality Quidditch Supplies where she would get something for Ginny and Harry. For Ginny she bought a sweater from the Holyhead Harpies. It was her favorite quidditch team. She bought Harry a book of Quidditch plays.
During the next hour Lorelai struggles with buying her friends gifts. As much as she didn't want to admit, she was a terrible gift giver. The absolute worst.
She ended up buying Hermione a series of muggle books, she bought Ron a box of chocolate frog's, she bought Arthur Weasley a book called "The Function of Rubber Duck's", she was surprised there even existed a book about that. She bought Molly Weasley a pair of earrings.
Fred and George were a bit more complicated. She decided to get them each a box of Honeydukes sweets. Her father and brother were the easiest so she quickly got that done.
After two hours of shopping around Diagon Alley Jacob and Lorelai finally call it a day and dissaprate back home. Tomorrow was Christmas Eve and they were going to join the Weasley's at the Burrow.
