Chapter 3: Starting slow and easy

Hokage's office

"Theyve both grown alot. Stronger and faster. More importantly, theyre proficient in using karma. But... " Sasuke explains, looking concerned.

"But?" Naruto asks with a tired look.

"Hes been having more of those visions lately, of the Otsutsuki clan, of Momoshiki"

"Hmm"

"I can confirm he does have a special visual prowess in his right eye, but i dont know how I can help with that. Thats for you to decide how to handle"

"And Kawaki?"

"I dont know... Perhaps Kara still has something to do with it, even after all this time." Sasuke said, thinking of the past lessons hes had with kawaki, of how aggressive he was, and how he used his hatred for Kara to focus in battle, to be used for his determination to succeed and pass any challenge

"Well, Kara has been a bad part of his life, theyve ruined his childhood, forced him into training to use the karma, a ninja weapon for them to use against the Leaf and probaly the 5 nations. He was alone... Just like us. Speaking of which, we have found a trace to them, I was hoping you'd investigate" naruto says with a smile, hoping sasuke would help him.

"Tsch, you probaly enjoy telling me what to do dont you, usuratonkachi"

Naruto and sasuke just smile lightly but sasuke had to leave.

"Where are you going?"

"I have to see my family, i heard my son is excited to see me" sasuke says, and leaves. Determined to find his son, Daisuke, and the rest of his family. It has been a long time since he was home, he owes them that much.

Meanwhile...

"Oiii and here they are! The prodigal son returns hmm?" Shikadai says as boruto and Mitsuki walks in the burger shop.

"Heh, shikadai, you havent changed abit, you look exactly like your dad. Well, then again you two are basically twins" boruto says laughing abit.

"Easy for you to say. Your dad and you could be shadow clones if you were wearing the same clothes" Inojin said, sitting next to shikadai.

"Boruto!!!! Wow youre so handsome now, its really urh.... Grrreat to see you again. Sarada here just told us about you" Cho cho says, talking with big bite of a burger in her mouth.

"Oh did she? What did she say about me?" He looks to sarada who was sitting next to cho cho at a different table and ignoring the conversation with her arms crossed over her chest and her head facing the other direction.

"Well for starters, she went on and on about your new appearance seeing as you have become much stronger and cooler. Which I for one, agree on that note, your physical changes from the time you were still in Konoha are quite drastic. Im excited to see you battle on the field, boruto" Denki says, sitting opposite of shikadai and Inojin.

"Did Not! All i said was you look different and it'll be hard to recognize you at first glance. " she says while blushing, looking a little pissed at denki but soon turned to boruto in search of a way to not make him feel weird or anything.

"Eheh its fine guys, come on, im starving"

After hearing boruto was back, the rest of his friends stormed the restaurant in minutes. Metal Lee, Iwabe and the rest of the other teams came as well.

The two empty seats infront of cho cho and sarada were saved for boruto and mitsuki. And so they sat down and began ordering their food.

"Sarada..." Boruto whispered, his voice loud enough only for her ears. Their friends cho cho and mitsuki were too busy challenging each other to see which one could eat faster.
