Chapter 35: Its Time.

Boruto pov

Morning came and i got up to go take care of my two boys. They were whining more than usual nowadays, especially when their mother isnt around anymore. No, when their mother cant take care of them like she could before. Shes fine... She'll be alright..she has to be.

I had to go to work again, someone has to pay the bills i suppose. So i left the babies and sarada to be in the care of our nurse Aiko. She was an old woman and treated many wounded during the war, thats where i met her after she tended to my dad. I trust her alot, and cant help but thank her everytime i see her because of what she does for sarada, the kids and sometimes even the house.

"Will that be all boruto sama?"

"Yes, thank you aiko" i tried telling her to just call me boruto but she insisted.

After i opened the door and left for my job as a teacher at the academy again, i got stopped on the way there by a familiar face.

"Boruto?"

"Sumire. Hello, what can i do for you?"

"Urm, i was looking for you. I was wondering if i could drop by and see sarada? Its just, i havent been able to see her in awhile and this might be for a long time before i see.. anybody in the leaf again"

"Going somewhere?"

"Im leaving. Im gonna go work on a long term science project in the Hidden Stone, theyre... Pretty undeveloped there in some areas. So i thought i could go see her one last time before i leave."

"Sure sumire, aiko should be there, tell her to call me once you reach" i say and turn around, continuing my walk to the academy.

"Boruto?"

"Yeah?"

"I hope she gets better, i really do." She smiled nervously and said.

"I....hope so too. And goodluck with your science project, we're all gonna miss you dattebasa. Do your best!"

"Heh,dont worry, i will. For sarada. And who knows, maybe one day she'll become hokage and urmm... I.. well i can.. "

"Come back and work here? She'll love that"

"Thanks boruto"

Uzuchiha residence

Sarada pov

I could hear the sounds of my two boys laughing. What were they laughing about? Mummy wants to join in on the fun too... Then i heard the familiar sound of my room door being opened, boruto? Back from work already?

"The boys just had their baths, would you like something to drink miss sumire?" Aiko says walking in with her. Sumire huh..

"Oh no thank you aiko, im good. I just need a moment alone with her if thats okay"

"Of course"

Then i heard the door close and sumire's footsteps drawing closer to me. I could feel the shifted weight in the bed as she sat down and took my hand. First there was silence, then i could feel teardrops on my hand. Was she crying?

"Sarada, Im so sorry youre like this... I just... I feel guilty, i feel like some part of this is my fault. If only i could handle the problem with Jun before i came to you then none of this wouldve happened. I need you back sarada. Please...we all do."

"I wish you could talk to me now, boruto needs you the most, hes like a zombie nowadays and always has a cold mood. Your family's waiting for you to comeback. Your children miss you so much"
