Chapter 28: Darker Nights

Sarada pov

Yes, the nights have grown darker, but more importantly they have been long and tiring, hokage sama has let me go on maternity leave, so ive been home for some time now. And ive been keeping boruto all to myself. We were more careful but still we couldnt resist each other. Being in his arms after made me feel whole and oh-so-satisfied.

Having two big boys in my stomach can be real tough channnaroo! They eat quite alot and are hardly ever full!Sometimes i have to wake boruto in the middle of the night to ask him to get me ice cream.... What? I felt like i wanted ice cream so i asked him for it. Dont... Dont judge alright?! And he was always so willing to do it, wellll....his sleepy face and groggy voice did show how tired he was... And it made me feel a little guilty. Hes been working so hard lately, carrying me upstairs, cooking meals for me, even breakfast in bed sometimes. I love him... More than anything. But im hungry damn it!

Boruto pov

"Boruto kun...."

"Boruto...... " she says while moving my shoulder up back and forth. I was so sleepy i could hardly feel anything, i opened my eye slightly to look at the time. 2:00am in the damn morning dattebasa...this woman will be the death of me.

"Yeah..." I say softly, not turning to her side, trying my best to sound sleepy as possible so at least she can feel a little.... Pity? The ice cream shop is a 15 minute walk ya know.

"Hey.... Hun?"

"........"

"Hun.... "

Damn, why does she always have to do that. Its.... Argh! It makes me do anything she wants! I can feel.... Those.... Puppy eyes behind me, staring at my head. *sighs.

"Okay okay.... Im up." I get up from bed, stretching but not looking at her.
When i stand up her hand catches mine.

"Im.... Im sorry" she says. I turn to her and sat back down, her big belly showing under her night gown. She sat against the pillows and looked at me with the most adorable face she can probaly muster and those.... Puppy eyes.

"Its okay. Tch... You can make me do anything with those eyes of yours, and thats, without the sharingan" she chuckles but her smile doesnt last, she still looks sad and i didnt really know why.

"Hun im sorry im making you do all this, i feel really bad and..." Before she could finish i kissed her forehead.

Sarada pov

"You just sit there, look beautiful and read your book okay? I'll go get the ice cream. What flavour this time?" He smiles and pokes the place he kissed, making me blush wildly.

"Ch-chocolate please" i love this man so much every little thing he does never ceases to make me feel so amazing. Its a feeling you could never fully describe when youre with the one you love.

As he leaves with nothing but his shirt and his sleeping trousers, i picked up one of my books and started reading, anxious for his return already.

Later...

"Might as well buy some groceries" boruto thought, throwing in some cans of beans into his basket.

"Shadow clone jutsu" he puts up his sign and two clones pop out.

"Wha... Only t.. two?" He says sleepily,  barely even able to stand. After the clone gets the rest of his stuff they gather at the counter to cash out.

"Alright, take these and i'll carry the ice cream" giving the clones the two bags of groceries while he takes the two buckets of ice cream.

"Urgh... Im so tired, why are we doing this?" The clones sigh as they all exit the shop.
