Chapter 22: Destined

"Come on boruto niisan, youve had enough for today" he holds boruto's arms, supporting him as they walk quickly across the streets. Staying behind houses to avoid detection. Well one of the most powerful and famous shinobi of the Leaf couldnt just go around acting crazy and being drunk now could he? Daisuke saw them entering Ichiraku's and decided to take a peak, and a wise decision that was, or not boruto would be in a lot of trouble right now....because they just saw sarada walking out of the mall with her friends.

"Oh crap, its sarada neechan! Quick!" He pulls boruto behind a nearby wall and leans abit to check if shes coming this way or still there. "Sarada? Wh.. Where? I wanna.. Hug her... And *burps...kiss her" he says, daydreaming about her.

"Oh no youre not, not when youre like this. Damn it, we need to get past her, and we cant do anything while youre drunk." He says and takes a peak again. To his luck , they start walking towards him and boruto's direction.

"Oh no....harghhh!" He whispers loudly, putting boruto in confusion. "What is it now daisuke.....I..I told you we'll train later." Boruto wobbles around and sticks to the wall. "Heeyyy, why are we sneaking? Are we on a mission?"

"Shut up! Im thinking... Hargghhhh! It'll have to do, we just ran out of time." He looks at boruto and activates his sharingan, both in full choku tomoe, casting a genjutsu on him. And just as he does sarada reaches and spots them.

"Thats what I said!.... Boruto? And Daisuke? What are you guys doing here?" She says in a happy mood.

"Oh hello there neechan! Urmm nothing, we were just going over some.. Urhhh... Wedding details. Heheh ehh emmm... It is in a couple of weeks you know so I..."

"The wedding is in three weeks, and urmm you plan my wedding? Now thats something to see. Whats really going on here, boruto kun?" She turns her attention to her future husband. Who stood still, not saying a word the entire time.

"Ummm ummm dattebasa."

"Right. You put in him in a genjutsu."

"Whaaaaa? No.... A genjutsu? Never." Thinking that this is it, hes gonna get it, hes dead, boruto's dead. Sarada hates it when people get drunk, theyre indecisive, unpredictable and wreckless. She's totally cool for just drinking though, but getting wasted? Thats a big no no. Especially seeing the 7th walk home with his friends one day, half drunk, he couldnt even recognise sarada when she said hi.

"Oh stop bluffing, you and boruto always practice genjutsu out in the park, sometimes i find him sleeping on the bench, and continue sleeping all day. He said it was the best genjutsu hes ever had." She puts her hands on her hips.

"Yeahh, yeah yeah yeah! Im really sorry neechan, its just this new technique i wanted to try out and urm things got a little out of hand and.. " he deliberately talks whilst putting a slight change in the genjutsu, putting him asleeep.

"Alright alright, just go and fix him okay?" She moves towards boruto and chuckles, putting a hand on his cheek.

"Oh you big baka" she smiles as she looks at him literally asleep infront of her, while standing. "Theyre so cute together... " everyone thought.

The next day. Boruto's birthday

"Ready big shot?" Daisuke says with his arms crossed over his chest, leaning against the door as boruto takes on last look in the mirror. He wore a jacket of the same design as the old one, but black in color and his white inner shirt that went his black shinobi pants and the tool kit strap on.

"Ready, i think." He says, still a little doozy from the whole bachelor party thing they had later in the afternoon. It was really fun, there were girls everywhere with some famous movie actors, shikadai really pulled some strings here. They drinked a little but not enough to get drunk, had a blast, boruto telling them about his best adventures and it was really exciting to hear stories from famous celebrities too, their adventures were as awesome and adrenaline-fuelled as his ones. Thennnn everything had to be long story short when might guy and lee showed up in their 'prime mood'. Youth of the next generation it seems.
