Chapter 12: Moonlight Town

"Soooo tomorrow's the Moon festival! Is boruto taking you?" Cho cho asks

"Mhmm, yupp, he asked me yesterday after a mission. Are you going with anyone?" Sarada strectches, both of them are about to do some taijutsu training.

"Hmmm, im... No.. No im not" she says ,distracted for a moment but refocuses into her fighting stance.

They throw a few hits at each other, mostly playing blocking, trying to hit each others bodies.

"Come...... " she dodges and pushes back cho cho. "...on, theres gotta be someone who wants to go with you, and im taking a wild guess that its"

"Metal? No.. Hes not my type, besides hes not gonna be around, he has a mission." She throws a few kunai at sarada but she blocks them with shurikens.

"I was going to say Iwabe." She grins a little.

"Iwabe? Ive never thought about him... I dont know, should i ask him?" Cho cho suddenly gets out of stance and starts looking all awkward.

"Urmm... I guess, if thats what you wanna do. Boys are all baka, just go ahead and straight up ask him, dont wait for him to make all the moves" she says, getting out of fighting stance too, she spins around the kunai she picked up and threw it to a nearby target and hitting it in the bullseye. "Well, at least thats what my mom said, and it worked out pretty good so far".

"Were you the first to ask boruto out on a date?" She walks over to her and looks at the target she threw at.

"Nope, he asked... sort of... Well its.. Its a long story" she starts reminiscing about their first date and how amazing it all was, unconsciously letting out a small smile across her face.

"Sarada!  But you said... "

"Said what?" Boruto says as he walks over to them.

"Boruto kun! How was your mission?"

"Not that exciting or eventful, how was your end? And how are you cho cho?"

"Well, just training with cho cho here, who seems to have a problem finding a date for tomorrow"

"Its... Not that big of a problem sarada... Whyd you.. "

"Its fine, anything i can do to help out?"

Then sarada puts a hand at her hip and another at her chin, thinking.

"Actually.... Now that you mention it, there is something you can do"

Meanwhile...

Mitsuki arrives at the small apartment kawaki was staying at. He knocks on the door but no answer. He calls kawaki's name again and knocks on the door a little more until he heard him. Kawaki walked to the front door and opened it.

"What do you want."

"Lord seventh sent me to come see you, is everything alright?" Mitsuki asks with a concerned look.

"He couldnt even send his clone could he?" His tone getting grumpier.

"No... That wasnt his intent... He was.." Naruto wanted him to see a comrade at first, he didnt want to cramp and make him feel uncomfortable because naruto was a doting parent to him.

"Everything's just fine alright, can you leave now?"

"I was actually wondering if youre up for some hand-to-hand combat?"

Kawaki was about to close the door, but then he reconsiders.

"You know what? I guess i am"
