Chapter 31: Parents

Its been a month since Haruto and Itsuki were born. Most of my stomach has flattened down to its original size and state. And thats thanks to Denki and Sumire's help with their advancements in medical technology.

Boruto has taken time off for awhile so that he could help me, my strength hasnt fully restored and walking around the house has been quite a struggle. Haruto and Itsuki have not been difficult as i thought they would be though, they dont cry as much when theyre awake but when they're hungry, the whole house shakes. I have to breast feed them alot and my breasts have kinda grown, and i havent noticed at all, so thats another upside. Im starting to feel sexy again around boruto channnarooo! Yes! Hehe. Well not that he hasnt made feel like that at all the whole time i was pregnant, its just.... Awh ya know... Its just pregnant things.

Haruto and Itsuki... They mean the world to me as much as my husband does. After the house renovation, boruto had an idea to increase the size of our bedroom, so that theres enough room for the babies to stay with us. It was really smart and sweet of him to think of that. I dont really know what id do without him sometimes.

They are so precious to us. From the moment i held them, i knew i would do anything to protect them. Both of us would.

The world we live in is always changing. Safety is never certain and can never be permanent. Thats why boruto has been thinking lately. He wants to stay at home and look after the kids. I tried to talk him out of it but he really insists on doing it. Sure, yeah it does take quite a lot of weight off my shoulders, i can relax more. And its still only been a month, my hormones are still spiking and i still get tired from time to time. We've discussed it and agreed to share the responsibilities as well, im their mom too ya know. I know its only gonna be a short while before this phase is over, soon they'll be walking and talking... Then theyre off to venture the world and see it for themselves.
Every moment with them is time that we should treasure.

Boruto's also built an office room for us both to share, he hasnt really stopped working yet, theres alot of paperwork that he needs to go through first. Cant leave on the job now can we?

*knock knock

"Yeah?"

"Hun? Dinner" i said, sticking my head out from the door.

"Oh.. Just a minute." He looked stressed, well, anyone would be with that mountain of papers on his desk. I opened the door and approached from behind him. Staying in all day on a saturday has cooped him up in here.

I massaged his shoulders and he let out a big sigh. I knew he really needed that. His hands dropped frok the laptop and his arms went limpy.

"Hey short stuff..." He says and looks up to me with those big blue eyes.

"I missed you. Staying in here on a weekend doing... homework is really not you channaro" i stopped massaging him and took a seat on his lap. He pulled me closer so that i can rest my back against his body.

"I know... But theres just alot of work and i need to complete it and send it in on monday dattebasa. Im sorry." He says, kissing my neck, causing a cold shiver down my spine and then he tries to pull me even closer, wrapping his hands around my stomach.

"The kids miss you too..." i sigh softly, he was getting me all riled up caressing my neck with his lips like that.

"Now dont use them like that... *kiss Its unfair"

"Well its working isnt it?" I smiled with my eyes closed, lifting my neck instinctively, i knew i was gonna get hickeys all over but i loved it.

"Hun.... D-Dinner..."

"Im...*kiss..having it..*kiss..dattebasa"
I turned my head to look at him then he instantly kissed me , it wasnt a kiss i have got in quite awhile. Then he pulled back. I felt weak suddenly, my eyes opened slowly.

"Why are you so beautiful?" He asks me as i try to compose myself and adjust my long hair, still sitting on his lap.

"Being your wife has its privileges doesnt it?" I reply with a cocky look and he chuckles. I saw some typos on his report on his laptop and decided to correct them. Man, he has some serious problems arranging his desktop.

"How was your day?" He says, rubbing my back. It always felt so good when he did that.

"Finee..we really did miss you ya know. Itsuki has been sad without him being in his father's arms. Haruto's okay he really likes his new toy you bought him. Oh! And tomorrow theres an event at the park! Family day! We should really go! Our first outing as a family together!"

"I like the enthusiasm sweetheart, but if you keep bouncing on my lap like that.."

"Oh... Hehe.."

"Come on, lets go get our kids and eat before everything in this room gets messy."

"Aww, thats a shame, thought it needed a mess, looks too sparkly clean." I stood up with a seductive look, he smiles and takes my hand.
"Dont tempt me" he says and walks towards the door.

Later...

"Heyy big boy. Soo strong! Do some punches. Hya..hya!" Boruto coos itsuki as he laid on the couch. I smiled as i looked at them while breast feeding Haruto.

"He'll be here soon, im sure he'll love it."

"Im sure he will, hes been with us since like, forever dattebasa"

"Maybe he should take some time off missions too?" I suggest, seeing how a little time off the job can do lots of good. He has been away for quite some time now.

"What he should do, is get a girlfriend." That suggestion was definitely better, and more exciting!

"That sounds like something to watch" i shook at that exciting thought, haruto whined as i moved, he looked at me with an angry face, haha probaly asking me to stay still dammit!

"Another drama for us to sit down and eat some chips to?" Boruto asks happily, he enjoyed spending time with me no matter what we watched, though he just sleeps off if theres just too much talking.

*doorbell

"Hello boruto, sarada"

"Heyy mitsuki! Come in!" Boruto says and hugs him bro style.

"Hi mitsuki!" I say and hug him.

"We've been wanting you to meet them for sometime now."

"Here, this is Haruto, Haruto Uchiha" boruto says while handing him into mitsukis arms. He smiled and cooed him. "He's really.... Small." He says and we laugh.

"Well they aare babies, and this is Itsuki Uchiha. Haruto's little brother... By urm... 2 minutes." I show him itsuki while he slept in my arms.

"Itsuki? Mitsuki without the M? Theyre... Really adorable arent they? " Mitsuki says as he closes up to see itsuki, he was really small and had his little hands in baby gloves.

"Mitsuki... " i start.

"We were wondering if you wanna be their Godfather" boruto continues. "If anything ever happens, we want you to have them."

Mitsuki was stunned, he never expected this. But that face changed quickly, he smiled brightly as he looked at both haruto and itsuki.

"Id be honored"
