I'm so excited that my Miles said that she would marry me. I called mom and dad so they don't kill me for not telling them.
"Hello sweetheart, why are you calling so late? Is there anything wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong mom. I have some exciting news for you and dad. Miley and I are engaged."
"I'm so happy for you guys. Do you have a date in mind?"
"No, Miles and I are going to pick out a date with you, dad and her parents. We are planning on having a dinner with just Miley, her parents and you guys and myself."
"I'm looking forward to it."
"I'll let you go, so you can get some sleep. Love you mom."
"Love you too, son. Goodnight."
"Night, mom."
I said ending the call and getting ready for bed.
