CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN - AT LAST

Life is full of adventures. Grab a chance of adventure. It will shape you to a better person.
Every day is a new day for you. Everyday is a chance to make your life better. Don’t sit around. Just get on with it.

Don’t just say. Do it. Make it happen. Life is about action. Action will bring your life a new identity. People will respect you. People will value your word.

Nothing is impossible in life. Everything will seem impossible until you try it. Everything is possible. It just needs your willingness to do it. Life is not cheap. It is much more valuable than you think. Respect every being of life. Respect everything it has given you. We can. We will. Have faith in ourself. The word ‘we’ has power in it. The purpose of life is to discover your gift. The work of life is to develop it. The meaning of life is to give your gift away.

As what Darlene Faith and Lewis Roy does!

They both gave respect to each other as well as the people surrounds them, and they gained their prize.

The wedding!

"I'll  be the happiest human alive on earth if the two of you will be together." Ika-nga ng matandang Calvin o si grandma Sheryl.

"Noon hanggang pangarap lang kaming magkakaibigan pero God gave a way to us. Rhayne and Precious, and now Lewis Roy and my Darlene Faith. Go and build your own family. May God bless you both." Ani naman ni grandpa Oliver Sr.

Kaya hindi na rin nagsayang ng oras ang dalawa. They made it legal and with blessings. They planned their wedding, and after almost three months of preparation here they are infront of the altar to have their blessing from Him.

"Here's the bride!" The emcee shouted.

Then the bell rang, and as the bell rang a very memorable music was aired, played by the band and the choir of the church.

For all the times I felt cheated, I complained

For all the wrongs I repeated, though I was to blame
I still cursed that rain
I didn't have a prayer, didn't have a clue
Then out of the blue

"Hanep ka bunso hindi ka ba napapagod niyan? Aba'y halos araw-araw ka ng bumibiyahe ah. Magpakasal na lang kaya kayo ng magsama na." Nakangiwing ani Precious sa bayaw na magiging manugang sa pamangkin. Nakahanda na naman itong  bumiyahe papunta ng Isabela.

"Soon ate we will, pero sa ngayon we will enjoy first our away-bati relationship. At isa pa wala namang problema kahit pa paroo't parito ako dahil mahal ko naman ang dahilan." Hindi mawala-wala ang ngiti sa labing sagot ng binata.

Totoo naman kasing away-bati silang dalawa. Pero dahil sa gano'ng scenario sa pagitan nila ay mas tumibay ang kanilang relasyon. Hindi magtatapos ang isang araw na hindi sila magkaka-ayos,  before they will sleep at night they have a pure heart already as they will tell each other the three magical words.

"Well nice to hear that  Lewis bago pa kayo tuluyang magsabong." Pahabol pang  biro ni Jeremy na malimit nakakarinig sa mala aso't pusang relasyon ng dalawa.

"That's  the main ingredients of it my dear Jeremy kaya huwag ka ng mangantiyaw dahil magdidilig pa ang tiyuhin mo." Sulsol pa ni Precious sa anak.

Pero ngiti na lamang ang isinagot ni Lewis sa mag-ina. Hindi naman siya kainusente upang hindi maunawaan ang  ibig sabihin ng ate niya kaso hindi na niya ito pinatulan dahil hindi siya makakabiyahe kung gagawin niya iyun. Ang asawa ng kapatid niya'y abot hanggang langit kung  magbiro ito. Well, he can say malaki ang respeto niya sa nobya niya, kailan man ay hindi sumagi sa isipan niya ang galawin ito bago iharap sa altar, although palagi silang nagkikita. Kapag weekend either sa Isabela sila or sa Baguio at iisang kuwarto din natutulog pero malakas ang self control niya. Wala silang pakialam kung iniisip ng iba na may nangyayari sa kanila sa tuwing nagkikita sila as long as walang katutuhanan ay hindi nila ito pinapansin.
