Yn's POV

"I got a search warrant for the residence of Marshall Carter. He's the head of the Night Lords. He's got priors for possession, aggravated battery. They deal out of a house in Hegewisch" Antonio said. "The boonies" Hailey said. "Yeah. My C.I. confirmed the monthly shipments here ready for distribution. Now, here's the thing. There's an estimated street value of at least two mil worth of meth and cocaine in the dining room." "How many men" Voight asked. "Uh, at least six." "The address is 238 Five Oaks Road" Antonio said. "Let's hit it."

We got to the house, got all of the men inside, and also found a shed out back that had kids in it. 2 were dead, and 1 was alive. We were sending the men we caught inside the house away in squad cars when an intense stabbing pain erupted in my side. "Ah" I say and clutch my stomach. "You okay" Adam asked me. "Yeah. I think it's just a-" I cut myself off as more pain arose. Then, it felt like something was soaking into my pants. Adam and I looked down at the same time. The area of my blue jeans around my crotch was stained dark red. "Yn" Adam said. That's when another wave of pain hit me and I passed out.

Adam's POV

"Yn" I shout and run over to her as she fell to the ground. I then pulled out my radio. "I need an ambulance to head over to 238 Five Oaks Road. There's something wrong with my partner. She needs medical attention." "An ambulance is heading over now" a woman replied. "Adam" Jay said and ran over with the rest of the team. "What happened?" "I have no idea. She was fine and then she started bleeding and collapsed."

Not even minutes later, an ambulance pulled up to the house. The two paramedics lifted onto a stretched and placed her in the ambulance. I climbed into the back with her and grabbed her hand. "We'll meet you at the hospital" Voight said. I nodded as one of the paramedics closed the door. Then, we drove off to the hospital.

Yn's POV

I don't remember much. All I remember was seeing blood, and then I passed out. Waking up in a hospital room was never my favorite thing. Last time I was in a hospital room, I had been shot. So I know something serious happened. I could feel someone clutching my hand, and when I was finally able to open my eyes, I saw that it was Adam. His eyes were red and puffy, a sign that he had been crying.

"Adam. What happened" I ask. He looked up at me, and the sadness on his face broke my heart. "Adam?" He took a deep breath and wiped the tears from his face. "You had an ectopic pregnancy. And uh...." Adam stopped himself and took a deep breath. "The baby was getting too big, and one of your Fallopian tubes ruptured causing the bleeding, and that caused you to have a miscarriage. A surgeon fixed up your tube though, so you're fine. But there was nothing the doctors could have done to save the baby because the pregnancy was ectopic to begin with."

"No" I say. "That's not possible. I wasn't pregnant. I couldn't have been." "All of your cramps and backaches were signs of an ectopic pregnancy" Adam said. That's when I started crying. Adam leaned over the side of the bed and embraced me. I sobbed into his shoulder as he rubbed my back. "It's okay. We're going to get through this together."
