Yn's POV

"Babe, are you ready yet? We've got to get to work" Adam said. "Do I look fat to you" I ask Adam as I stared at myself in the mirror. "No. You look beautiful" Adam said. "You're only saying that because you're my husband" I say. "I'm saying that because it's the truth" Adam said and wrapped me in a hug from behind, placing his hands against my 6-month pregnant stomach. In response, the baby kicked softly where one of Adam's hands was placed. "See? The baby agrees with me" Adam said. "Whatever. Lets get to work" I say.

At work, we already had a huge new case. "So if the Jane Doe is a prostitute, the question is, why call 911 and then lie about it when patrol shows up" Hailey asked. "Yeah, I think we have an answer to that. George's cell phone wasn't recovered at the scene. It's shut off now, but we gained access to his iCloud account" Adam said. "Patrol confirmed for us that this is the actual lady who they talked to at the condo" Kevin said and showed us some pictures. "Time stamp" Jay asked. "These photos were taken eight minutes before the 911 call, followed by these. A second unidentified woman in the condo, same time frame" Kevin said and showed us some more photos. 

"She can't be more than 16" I say and look at the girl in the second set of photos. "She's the one who called 911. She has to be. Who is she" Kim asked. "Her photo doesn't match in any of our systems. Not CHRIS or Vice" Adam said. "Missing persons" Kim asked. "No. No one's looking for her. We do think we know how George booked the girls though. He messaged a burner phone yesterday. About a minute later, the burner responded with pictures of girls to choose from" Adam said. 

"George tapped into that same burner a minute after that 911 call that he had with you" Kevin said to Kim. "So we're thinking pimp" Voight asked. "More than likely" Kevin replied. "All right, so let's run with that. Have CPIC tear that burner apart. I want names. Who are these girls? And who the hell is running them" Voight said.

Adam and Vanessa went out to see where George's phone had pinged, and when they came back, they had some information. "The last location of the pimp's cell phone hit was pretty deserted. Zero traffic cams. We lucked out with this hidden security camera" Adam said and pulled up some footage for Hailey, Jay and I. "This guy's smart. He checks for traffic cams before he pulls over" Jay said as the video played. "Oh, come on, step into the light" Adam said. That's when the man stepped into the light and we could kind of see his face. 

Jay typed a few things into the computer and facial recognition scanned the man's face. "Daniel Lopez, 32. Wanted in six states, and by the FBI. In connection to assault, kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault, and the trafficking across state lines of women and minors by force, fraud, coercion, and violence" I read aloud.

"Sergeant Marie Stilman, Hank Voight" Platt said and lead a few people into our office. "This is SA O'Brien, rest of my team. I take it I don't have to do intros" Stilman said. "No, no. Get in" Voight said. "You all have had the misfortune of landing in a cell of what we have named, and the FBI, Operation "Cold Country." It's a midsize human trafficking network operating in the Midwest. The ring recruits domestic girls. Homeless teenagers. Runaways" Stilman said. "You said recruits. Did they use Romeo tactics" Kim asked. "Right on the money. Only, it isn't really Romeos. More like Juliets" Stilman said. 

"So they're using their own girls to recruit new ones" Hailey asked. "Yeah, and it's sweet, for about a hot minute. Before you know it, the girls are addicted to heroin, raped, beaten, held, pimped" Stilman said. "They move the girls every couple of months to a new state. They avoid the police and keep the girls in the dark. They never know where they are" O'Brien said. "But we have ID'd your man Daniel Lopez. He's a trusted mid-level trafficker" Stilman said.
