As I place this veil on my body, may the divine mother protect me. May this veil hide me from my enemies who seek to destroy me and send curses my way. May the wind of hatred pass over me so that my eyes are not clouded with judgement but with truth. Let this veil outline my body so my enemies can see through me but only on the surface. Let them think that they can see through my vulnerability but yet underneath I am dressed with weapons of destruction.  May my purity and grace be kept hidden beneath the shadows of the veil so that I may keep dignity.

"Do you want to live or die child?"

The question threw Delicious off guard that she had to shake her head in confusion and ask, " What did you say?"

"Do you want live or die child?" Exyrx asked as she had her eyes closed and head leaned towards the window listening to the sounds of nature as she asked. The window was open and the sound of birds chirping and cars passing by filled the silent room. Delicious had no words to speak and she was taken aback that she took a step back.

"I- " Delicious responded but paused as she looked away at the marble tiling on the floor.  She noticed a few cracks on the floor but realizing that she was in a unfamiliar territory brought her back to her senses.

Exyrx took a short breath and scrunched up her nose. She began to tap her thumb and middle finger hitting the soft skin as a small sound of thumping erupted from her fingers. A emotionless look formed on her face but her eyes were filled with sorrow and emotion but quickly disappeared.

Delicious lifted her head and released her tense shoulders causing her breast and torso to bounce. No one really has asked her that question before, but she always knew the answer. DEATH. Some people would be grateful for waking up in the morning but Delicious was not. Delicious wanted to die and never step foot on this Earth again but God had other plans.

"I don't know."

"Truth be told you are not gonna make it. You are going to die out there. YOU ARE GOING TO DIE! If you do not submit, then you are going to die and you are going to another dead body in the ground! You think you are special, please! Do you know how many people think they are special and deserving than get thrown to the grown! I do not know what type of spell you have my nephew on, but it won't last honey! I can see through you, and you are just like Rasheeda! You even smell the same and act the same! I don't know why these boys love to keep bringing whores to my home, " Exyrx yelled bluntly so loud that her face turned red as she yelled than muttered the last two sentences out of nowhere.

Delicious felt her head go dizzy and her ears drums start to shake, there was a urge to yell and scream.  The blood in her body started to erupt, Delicious could feel her body shake and anger spilled all over her. Just hearing Exyrx yell at her made her blood boil. Who the fuck was this bitch and why was she yelling? 

Delicious walked over to Exyrx and stood right in her face than yelled," Who the fuck you yelling at? I don't even know you and you out here doing the most! Just let me be!" I do not give a shit about Amir or his mama or anyone for that matter! The fuck I look doin anything on Amir. That nigga is crazy and sick in the head!"

Exyrx looked at Delicious in shock than gave out a small scoff of disgust before replying," Child listen to me! This world! This country! This place is not what you think it is! You think because you know how to yell and scream and curse that you are safe no! This place is hell! They will break you and eat your bones and replace you!  Head my words!"

Delicious turned to Exyrx with tears in her eyes and yelled," I do no2t mind dying! You know what  I do not mind dying. I hate my life and I have been trying to die for the longest who cares about anything. I will take the quickest route to death! At 14 years old I dreamed of death wanting to take me and it never did. I survived this long all while praying every night that God came and killed me and you think your words can hurt me. If it is meant for me to die than so be it."
