Tuesday morning comes and goes. Jess, James, Josh and I all sit in our usual spots in World Religion. We don't pay any attention to the lecture since we're too busy talking about the upcoming weekend. Josh keeps teasing me and stroking his fingers against my arm. I am striving so hard to redirect my focus on the lecture but I can't help it and let an occasional giggle leave my mouth. Jess notices the spark between us and can't stop smiling at me. I try to ignore her expressions, but she knows all too well what I must be feeling.
Class ends and he leans down and whispers in my ear "I'm excited about this weekend." He departs and Jess can't help but laugh at me. "Yes, I know I'm an idiot" I say. "No, I just have never seen Josh this way before--- he actually looks genuinely happy" She says. I giggle and start to say something when Landon walks up and interrupts us unknowingly "Jenn, so what's going on this weekend?" Jess looks at me with sudden confusion. I quickly look at him and say "Can't talk right now, gotta run. But I'll text you." I walk away (more like run away) embarrassed and head for my dorm.
