I winced at the sound of rain on the window. I looked over to the clock on the wall and saw that it read 7pm. We obviously slept longer than two hours. Josh laid there still asleep, but my neck was killing in the current position. I lift myself off of him and removed his length that was deep inside me. I walked over and put a pair of yoga pants on, opening our door quietly, and moved down the steps. The house was absolutely silent except for slight wrapper noises coming from the kitchen.
I turned into the kitchen and saw Lacey sitting on a bar stool eating cookies and milk. We smiled at me as I walked over. "My parents aren't back yet. I'm assuming Josh is asleep like Matt?" "Yeah, I guess they were pretty tired after today" I replied. She winced thinking back about what happened a few hours earlier. "Are you okay" I ask. "Yes...I was just so scared in that moment that I began to panic and thought about losing Matt." "The only thing that seemed to get me back to reality was Matt fucking me twice... so I guess I wore him out" she smiles.
I giggle a bit and say "Yeah, we had to do the same thing." I walk around the counter and grab a glass and place in it in the fridge to fill up with ice all the way up then switch to water. I walk back and sit next to her. She hands me a box of thin mint Girl Scout cookies. "You love him, don't you?" she asks. I play with the cookie in between my fingers for a second and say "Yes." She smiles "Yeah, Matt said when they were playing pool earlier Josh couldn't stop talking about you and how much he loved you." I couldn't stop blushing at her for the words she just spilled to me. "And you love Matt?" I ask. "With all my heart" she says. "I know were sophomores and have so much to look forward to, but I consider us lucky that we found each other so young."
We both turn and go back to eating cookies in silent. We were both utterly and completely happy in this moment. We were loved and knew it too.
