Heart pounding, Gidget yipped happily, "Tiberius!" She wrapped her paws around him carefully so she wouldn't hurt him on accident as she gave him a hug. The Pomeranian smiled when she felt him return the embrace. Straightening up, she suddenly punched him in the shoulder, exclaiming, "That's for making me think you were dead!"
"Ow..." Tiberius mumbled.
Smiling softly, Gidget wrapped her paws around Tiberius's neck and gazed into his eyes. "I love you," she whispered. A purr rumbling deep within his throat, the old hawk nuzzled the Pomeranian as he replied back, "I love you too." Staring into each other's eyes lovingly, Gidget noticed how she was moving closer to Tiberius. She could also tell that he had seen too. But neither stopped as they closed in for a kiss.
"Aww..." everyone cried out, announcing their presence. Gidget and Tiberius looked over at them, slightly annoyed that they couldn't be alone together. "Guys, really?" Gidget muttered, shaking her head in disbelief. Max padded forward. Stopping beside the pair, he spoke loud and clear, "Gidget, I'm happy to see you with the one you truly love. May you always be happy." The fluffy dog smiled softly as the terrier turned towards Tiberius and warned him, "Treat her well, she's more than what's on the outside."
"I know, thanks," Tiberius responded as Max backed off. Looking over at the rest of the gang, Gidget asked quietly, "Could you guys go get a stretcher or something and leave us alone for a minute?" Nodding her head, Chloe quickly began herding the boys out of the warehouse, though there was some complaining. The most coming from Norman, the loudest from Mel and Buddy. Smiling, Gidget called out, "Thank you Chloe!"
"You want to try that kiss again?" Tiberius asked softly, blushing a little bit. Gazing into his light brown eyes, Gidget answered his question with a kiss.
