The sun was already high up in the sky by the time Gidget woke up. Blinking her eyes open, she at first had no idea where she was. Hearing someone snoring softly, she looked down to discover that she had fallen asleep on Tiberius's chest, wrapped up in his wings. The old hawk was still sleeping. Smiling happily as she recalled what had happened last night between the two of them, Gidget gently nuzzled the hawk's face, waking him up.
"Good morning Gidget..." Tiberius mumbled sleepily, yawning. Tail wagging nonstop, Gidget replied, "Morning sleepyhead." Laughing quietly, the hawk let the Pomeranian get off of him so he could roll over to his feet. Getting a drink of water, the canine looked up at the sky high above their heads. Seeing where the sun was, she commented, "We should probably get home before everyone sends out a search party."
"Way ahead of you on that one," Tiberius murmured as he stretched. Cracking his back, he yelped slightly and added on, "I think I'm getting too old..." Giggling, Gidget trotted over to the hawk. Giving his cheek a small lick, she whispered, "You look young to me." Blushing, Tiberius lowered his head to allow the fluffy white Pomeranian to climb up on his back. Carefully getting up, Gidget gripped his shoulders gently. Seeing that she was settled in, Tiberius took off. Before long, they could see Gidget's apartment building. However, Chloe was beckoning them over to hers. Curious, they landed.
"Gidget, I know you're not gonna like this," Chloe warned, "But Max just called a meeting."
"Let's see what he wants..." Gidget snarled.
